Keep me safe O God for in you I take refuge. - Psalm 16:1

Monday again, many of us brace ourselves for the week ahead. The memes and complaints about the “Monday blues” are everywhere, and I get it—getting back into the routine can be tough, even for a homeschooling mom like me.

But this morning, I was reminded to shift my perspective. Instead of dreading the start of the week, I can see it as an opportunity to draw closer to God. Taking refuge in Him means inviting His presence into my daily tasks, transforming them into moments of worship and gratitude.

Let’s commit to seeking God’s strength and guidance as we step into this new week. When we feel weary, we can turn to Him for renewal. Together, let’s trust that in every challenge, we are held safely in His embrace.

Have a fruitful week ahead of you! Praying for you! ❤️

Why forgive?

“When you forgive someone, you slice away the wrong from the person who did it. You disengage the person from his hurtful act. You recreate him. At the moment you identify him ineradicably as the person who did you wrong. The next moment you change that identifty. He is remade in your memory.

You think of him now not as the person who hurt you, but a person who needs you. You feel him now not as the person who alienated you, but as the person who belongs to you. Once you branded him as a person powerful in evil, but now you see him as a person weak in his needs. You recreated your past by recreating the person whose wrong made your past painful. “

Filipos 4:7: “At ang kapayapaan ng Diyos, na sumasalampak sa lahat ng pang-unawa, ay magiingat sa inyong mga puso at mga pagiisip kay Cristo Jesus.”

“I never find forgiveness easy, and rarely do I find it completely satisfying. Nagging injustices remain, and the wounds still cause pain. I have to approach God again and again, yielding to Him the residue of what I thought I had committed to Him long ago. I do so because the Gospels make clear the connection: God forgives my debts as I forgive my debtors. The reverse is also true: Only by living in the stream of God’s grace will I find the strength to respond with grace towards others.” ~ What’s so Amazing about Grace? By Philip Yancey

Behind every act of forgiveness lies a wound of betrayal, and the pain of being betrayed does not easily fade away. - What’s so Amazing about Grace? By Philip Yancey

“Despite a hundred of sermons on forgiveness, we do not forgive easily, nor find ourselves easily forgiven. Forgiveness, we discover, is always harder than the sermons make it out to be,” - writes Elizabeth O’Connor

That’s why only by God’s grace we can forgive, day by day we need His grace and choose to forgive.

The heart knows its own bitterness, and no stranger shares its joy. - Proverbs 14:10

- Bitter mouth means bitter heart. What flows from our heart flows through our mouth.
- we should acknowledge that each person’s heart carries its own sorrows and pains that other may not be fully comprehend. So we should learn to understand na person first before judging them.

Good morning Monday! Another week to look forward to and challenges to face with faith. May this verse be a reminder to you my friend!

It reminds us that we will pass through these difficult times, not be overwhelmed by them. God’s unwavering support ensures that we are never alone in our struggles. His willingness to help us navigate through challenges offers us strength and hope, affirming that even in the toughest moments, we are under His care and protection. This promise encourages us to trust in His guidance and find peace in His presence, no matter what.

Have a great week ahead!

“Heal one step at a time."

“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”” - 1 Peter 2:24
"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed." - Isaiah 53:5
Embarking on the path to healing is a courageous decision. Letting go of the past and forgiving yourself and those who have wronged you is never easy. Whether you're recovering from physical, emotional, or life challenges, healing is a gradual process. However, beginning the healing journey brings you closer to a peaceful and joyful present and future.
Sharing my experience is challenging, and I often find myself wondering, "Should I share?". I can't disclose the exact nature of my brokenness, though my family and very close friends are aware of it. But I felt deeply devastated, to the point where I thought I couldn't continue living or breathing. But by God’s limitless grace and faithfulness, I am gradually finding my way to healing.
I want to share some of the steps I took on my healing journey, as I still rely on this process whenever I lose my way. I hope it can help someone out there who is seeking healing.

In my deepest wound, I saw your glory and it astounded me. - Saint Augustine

- I am deeply wonded but God’s glory transcends those trials.
- During those times, even amidst the deep hurt inflicted by someone I love and the surrounding injustices, God remains present. His kindness, faithfulness, righteousness, peace, joy, and loving embrace encompass it all.
- At the end of the day, His glory shines. His boundless love brings me everlasting peace and joy.

What would Jesus do? I’m reminded of the challenges I’ve faced and the shortcomings I’ve encountered. Yet, I find solace in God’s strength I’ve gained through adversity, when He weakened me to be fully dependent on Him alone.

- after months of neglecting my pens, I resolved to delve back into calligraphy today.
- Today, I’m contemplating the troubling thoughts on my mind.
- “what would Jesus do?” : He weakened my strength in the way; He shortened my days. ~ Psalms 102:23
