🗺 Trails: Snowshoe or hike through serene winter landscapes to reach this icy paradise. Trails vary in difficulty, making it accessible for most adventurers.

📍 Location: Head to the Gorges Sector of Parc naturel régional de Portneuf. Look for the trailheads leading into the gorge. It’s minutes away from the parking lot.

💰 Entry Fees: A day pass costs around $9.78 + tx per car 🚗 .

🕒 Timing: Plan your visit in the morning for the best light on the ice formations and fewer crowds.

Montmorency Falls (Parc de la Chute-Montmorency) is one of Quebec’s most spectacular natural wonders — a powerful waterfall 83 m tall (30 m higher than Niagara Falls) right where the Montmorency River crashes into the St. Lawrence River. 🌊📸

📍 Address: 5300 Boulevard Sainte-Anne, Québec City, QC G1C 0M3 🇨🇦
🚗 Distance from Québec City: ~15 min / ~12 km from Old Québec 🚗
🚘 Distance from Montréal: ~260-265 km / ~3 h drive (perfect day trip!) 🚘

🥾 Trails & Views:
• Footpaths from ~0.5 km to ~3 km take you to multiple lookout points with THUNDEROUS views of the falls.
• Cross the suspended bridge for an incredible vantage point right above the waters.
• Climb the 487 panoramic steps to change perspective (summer).
• Cable car/funitel runs between the base and the top for a unique view (check schedules — varies by season).

After the snowfall this weekend, the mountain is in perfect shape — and the summit views? Unreal.

3️⃣ Cutest village in Québec? Honestly… yes. 🛍️🎄
