"Always"

Almost 9hrs spent on this and I love how it turned out. There are so many, whom we've lost from this franchise. Some passed on who were simply far too young, while others left us when we simply weren't ready and most likely, never would of been.

In memory of them, I've brought back a character we never really got to enjoy much of; our beloved Unicorn.

Unicorns are a symbol of purity but longevity and eternal beauty, love, life, and rebirth are just a few more key attributes that are associated with unicorns.

To those whom we have lost, the word Always will forever be symbolic to you.

My fondest memories of Hogwarts, was having my mom read the books to me, then we watched the movies together. I can't believe I grew up with these characters. So many hate this franchise, all because of things the author "supposedly" has said (things I whole heartedly don't believe as I've been subscribed to her Twitter ever since she joined and I joined Twitter before she did and have NEVER seen the things she's been accused of saying as I get emails on anything she posts). That said, hate the author but don't hate a franchise in which millions were given hope, comfort, and were encouraged to believe in not just themselves but in their dreams. No matter how wild or crazy they may seem.

This one cuts like a knife. It hurt when we lost Allen Rickman and it hurts even more, now that our beloved Professor McGonagall is gone. I've always been a proud Slytherin, but I loved Maggie in so many ways. She was funny and always had the right amount of humor during her role as Professor McGonagall, even when the scene was stressful or upsetting, there was always an undertone of sarcastic wit and humor.

She was a rare gem that made us kids believe, when we had nothing else left to believe in.

We're gonna miss you Professor. Say hi to the others, wherever yous may be

My heart is all but shattered. Our beloved Professor Minerva McGonagall has left us and in her passing, has left devastated Harry Potter fans. I do not care if you love the Harry Potter author, what's important to remember is this; this book series, this movie franchise, gave alot of us kids, hope, when we had none left. It allowed us to believe in magic in a time period when it was heavily frowned upon.

You can hate the author all you like, but Maggie was an amazing human being, as was so many who have since left us.

Professor, I hope that, wherever you have gone, it's a magically filled wonderland, and just know, your students will make you proud in all that we do.

We miss you and love you.

"Birth of the Kelpie"

The birth of a Kelpie is a very rare event. Never seen by human eyes and those who do happen to stumble upon such a rare event, often aren't heard from again. Inspired by the multiple Lunar events this year, I've portrayed Z3phyrus__'s Dramhaíl being born from an eerily glowing pool of water, somewhere in a forest.

A project I began a few months ago, benched and then once my art block ended, came back too. A labor of love (and some frustration), I've begun testing a few different art styles to see which one I like best. I need to find a good hair brush cause my gods, the brush I have right now (comes with the program), sucks so badly x...x

I really do love how the highlighting turned out on the rump though. Would I do it differently on the upper body? Probably but I'm still learning so, hey ho.

The lava tho 🙇My word. There is a legit reason as to why lava is one of the hardest mediums to draw. Just go watch a flow and you'll understand. But! I captured what I had in my mind.
