Check out what just arrived at the studio, the KORG Drumlogue!

Been messing around with this for the last hour or so, and this thing just bloody rocks. Plenty of fantastic sounds and patterns, extensive manipulation controls, and a solid build to boot. Expect to see some videos featuring this beast and the Monologue pop up soon.

Been digging some of these bass tones coming out of the TH-U amp simulator by Overloud lately, crafted this bass tone for another project, just had to borrow it for this little riff demo!

Whipped up this little video the other day as a chance to test out some new drum recording techniques and experiment with video in the studio. Gotta adjust at least one of the camera angles, little shakey on the kick drum impacts.

Two years ago today Okzygen Records put on a show at The Garnet with some awesome local talent. Since then, the last two years have been a flurry of industry and policy changes as we deal with the ongoing pandemic. It's been a very tough couple of years for everyone, including us here at Okzygen.

As we move in to 2022, we're gonna stay positive and get back into doing what we love: helping you make your music sound just how you want. Over the next few weeks we will be developing a release schedule for our original productions, as well as opening the studio doors again to the public! If you need to get some songs tracked and mixed, get some playthrough videos done up, or even just want to chat about music, shoot us a message!
