Part one of my feature article ‘Gems of the North West’ is now available to read and download free via the link in my bio. First up in that feature is Deming Speedway, a mecca for micro racers worldwide. The gorgeous little 1/6 mile bullring in Northern Washington begins it’s 47th season in late March and has played host to the prestigious Clay Cup Nationals every July since 1985.

From the article…

“Deming Speedway is preparing to host it’s 47th season of racing in 2025. This is no small feat for any facility or business let alone a micro sprint track that is, for all other intents and purposes, the Lemley family home. It’s no secret that their backyard bullring has long been the place to be on Friday Nights in Northern Washington. The 1/6 mile clay oval plays host to some of the world’s fiercest micro and lightning sprint racing and after almost five decades it’s safe to assume little is set to change this coming season.”

The comprehensive RACECAR 2025 PNW OPEN WHEEL SCHEDULE has now been updated to include the recently announced (tentative) calendar from Cottage Grove Speedway

The calendar now includes all sprint, midget and micro races at Deming Speedway, Skagit Speedway, Grays Harbor Raceway and Cottage Grove.

Dates for the NARC King of the West Fastest 5 Days, SCCT Western Sprint Tour Speedweek and High Limit Racing are also added.
