Lake effect snow squalls off Georgian Bay expected today.

Reduced visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow.
Local snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm.

Late this morning through the afternoon. Weakening this evening.

Additional information:
Winds are expected to shift from west to northwest through the day. As a result, snow squalls are not expected to remain over any given location for a long period of time. Reduced visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow will be the primary hazard as opposed to snowfall accumulations.

Travel will likely be hazardous.

Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.

They are assessing the outage with no restoration time right now. Nobel, Shawanaga & Shebeshekong Rd

** All School buses are CANCELLED including Wasauksing & Shawanaga & St. Dom's - Wasauksing School is CLOSED today, other schools remain open **

Bussing for all weather corridors are cancelled today. At this time, all schools remain open for students who can get there safely. Parents are reminded that cancelled bus routes will not run in the afternoon; any students brought to school by other means must be picked up at the end of the school day.
