For every $1500 made in sales of Usborne Books and Activities we are gifted a box of $400 plus brand new books and activities to donate to a cause close to our heart.

This year I am working towards earning at least 1 box for Ronald McDonald House of London.

So how can you help?

What an adventure!!
I havent been on skates in 12+ years so you can only imagine how I was when I got out there on the ice 😂

A friend invited us to go to a parent Tot skating at our local arena and at first I thought not a chance.
But the more I thought about it. I was like the children deserve the opportunity to learn to skate and why for a free morning!

They spent a lot of time on the ice but for their first adventure out on skates, I am super proud of them!

My Usborne Story!

I signed up for the discount.. I’ll be honest.

I got $100 of books for $24.95 in my Starter Kit and was making a commission off of friends and family that ordered during my launch party that my friend and team leader, Emily helped me with.

But what I have gained from joining this community, is so much more than I could have imagined:

• building a home library for my kiddos with free and heavily discounted books and activities

• a positive focus and community of people to help that feeling of loneliness I had during this global pandemic

• the opportunity to share my love of learning and books even though I’m not working in a classroom anymore

• a steady stream of income that I can contribute to household projects or activities for the kids that weren’t really a priority before

• realistic and attainable goals with real rewards such as, $ in free books, commission raises, incentive trips and more

I’ve been sharing Usborne Books with other families since July of 2021, and it’s truly been such a positive and empowering journey for me.

❤️📚Usbornes Story 📚❤️

One day Peter Usborne was busy working away at his job at the time. He soon after received news that his wife was expecting their first child. Peter then made the decision to go into children’s publishing in 1969.
By the time he set up Usborne Publishing UK it was 1973 and he was the proud father of 2 children. Many of the books in the UK at the time were dull and uninspiring however television, magazines and comics were all doing a fantastic job at capturing children’s imaginations.
With this in mind Peter set up a plan: to create the best quality books for children that were filled with inspiring text, amazing illustrations, step by step instructions and fascinating topics.

He soon brought his vision to life and for 20 years worked to create many different ideas and books to the surface in maUsborne Books at Home Canadall!

In 1993 Usborne made the transition to Canada! This was a remarkable achievement to have these award winning books flown across the ocean!

-In 2023 the UK celebrated 50 Years of Usborne Publishing with it ranked as the #1 childrens book publisher in the UK!)
- 2023 marked 30 years of Usborne Books at Home Canada

This company aims to only publish books that are irresistible, written in an infectious, enthusiastic and interesting way! They wish to anticipate, encourage and answer questions in a way that children love and parents trust.

Unfortunately our dear Peter was taken from his time on earth at the end of March 2023. His wonderful daughter Nicola has taken the seat at the business and continues to show such love and affection towards her fathers business ❤️

I am so thankful to be a part of this community!
