Recently I mentioned to him that I was disappointed that the strawberry lemon muffins weren't available that day. He put a big smile on his face and said that he had a whole box in the back and asked if he could get them for me. Of course I said yes! Michelle, who nominated Joey, said “I came home from grocery shopping and while I was bringing in my groceries, I fell up the stairs outside my house – dropping all my bags causing the groceries to go everywhere. My neighbour Joey, who was outside in his garden, came running over and just told me to go in the house and he would gather up my groceries and bring them in. He did exactly that - even cleaning up the mess created by two broken jars. The whole thing was very embarrassing for me but Joey made me feel so much better! Joey is the perfect neighbour!”

Yesterday, my garden was graced by a tiny kitty visitor, meowing its heart out! 🐾 Does anyone know if this cutie belongs to someone on the east side of Owen Sound? Because my house is already a zoo with three cats and a dog, and I'm not sure I'm ready to add another member to the crew. But that face! Those eyes! 😻

In my rush to get everything we needed for a family BBQ, I didn't notice that Hoppy had been dropped - until I got home and my son was in hysterics. I raced back to the store, hoping I could somehow track him down, and found out that Patricia had picked him up, dusted him off, and had dropped him off with customer service - she also included a little treat with a note that read, "For the little one that is probably missing their friend."
