Congratulations to Sadie Daisie Hubmann Loucks – our Superdog for December - Sadie has won a gift card for Howlers Dog Sports!

Her owner, Dee-Ann, says that Sadie is a 20-month-old rescue cocker spaniel. She loves truck rides with her Papa and waking her “parents” up in the middle of the night for belly rubs.
But Sadie’s favourite thing to do is to sing! Her favourite songs are 'Happy Birthday', 'I Will Always Love You' by Whitney Houston and 'O Canada'. Check out her singing skills below!

Samantha, who nominated Martin, said “I came out of Zehrs in Owen Sound with a cart full of groceries and two toddlers in tow. It was snowing pretty hard and it was a challenge getting the kids in the car – then unloading the groceries. Martin was parked a row over but he came over and cleaned all the snow off my car – saving me so much time. I never got Martin’s last name with everything going on but I just hope he hears this so he knows how much I appreciated how he made my day amazing!”

Her nominator, Justin, writes, "Deanna is a Case Worker with Community Living. Recently, Deanna was made aware that an individual in the community had become unresponsive and required emergency care. Deanna found them, immediately called 911 and set out on performing CPR until the paramedics arrived. Thanks to her quick thinking, medical training and calm demeanour under pressure, the person in crisis survived. This act of bravery not only saved this person's life, but highlighted Deanna's deep commitment to her community and her readiness to act selflessly in a moment of crisis. Her actions attest to a profound sense of care and responsibility for others, which serves as an inspiration not only to her team, but to everyone who has the privilege of knowing her."
