Phil Carleton, formerly of Legacy Ridge Golf Club near Owen Sound and now living in Bathurst, New Brunswick, returned to the area this week to compete in the Canadian Men's Senior Championship at Saugeen Golf Club. Phil is shown with his caddy for the opening day, Brent Keeling of Legacy Ridge, and his playing partner Larry Cooper (right).

The Open Line:
Starfest is one of the largest gatherings of amateur astronomers in all of North America, and certianly the biggest in Canada. It takes place right under our noses here in Grey County, and most people have never heard of it.
Glenn Norman and Malcolm Park from the North York Astronomical Association (the organizing body) join host Steve Ritchie to talk about the history, the significance and all the activities that make up Starfest.
