🏒🎉 Hockey Fest is Coming to Owen Sound! 🎉🏒

Get ready for a fun-filled weekend of hockey action and community events starting Thursday, November 14 at the Bayshore Community Centre!

🆚 Thursday: Cheer on your favorite high school teams as the East vs. West featuring the boys’ and girls’ teams from OSDSS ATHLETICS and St. Mary's Catholic High School. The games are free to attend and will be live-streamed on ROGERS tv Grey County. Don’t miss it!

🏫 Friday, November 15: University players will visit local schools—Notre Dame Catholic School, Alexandra Community School, and École East Ridge Community School. The visits will be hosted by Denise Reid and the University of Waterloo women’s hockey team, including floor hockey games and a Q&A session!

🏒 Friday Evening: On-ice clinics for current players led by the University of Waterloo Women’s Hockey Team, teaching skills and game tips!

🔹 Mark O'Leary – Head Coach of the Moose Jaw Warriors (WHL), entering his 4th season. He’s also coached Team Canada at the World U17 Championship. Originally from Owen Sound!

🔹 Dollee Meigs – Associate Coach of the Warriors Women's Hockey Program, with a focus on developing top female players. She’s part of the NHLCA Female Coaches Development Program.

🔹 Mike Stothers – Recently retired after a legendary coaching career in the NHL, AHL, WHL, and OHL.

🔹 Shaun Reagan begins his 12th season as head coach of the Waterloo Warriors women’s hockey team, boasting a 117-91-27 record with seven playoff appearances in the last eight years. A two-time OUA West Coach of the Year, Reagan brings years of experience, including time with Team Canada and the KW Rangers in the PWHL.

This is your chance to learn valuable insights, gain new perspectives, and network with other coaches in the community. Whether new to coaching or a seasoned pro, this clinic has something for everyone!

The new round-a-bout at Grey Road 3 and Grey Road 4 is now open and operational.

Below is a good visual reminder for drivers about using one lane rouand-a-bouts.

⚠ Make sure to look LEFT and YIELD to vehicles already inside the round-a-bout.
🏃Look for, and yield for pedestrians.
🚥Signal as you exit the round-a-bout to ensure a safe exit.

Road safety is everyone's responsibility!

On Saturday, October 26, KT TKD travelled to Toronto to compete in the Phoenix Memorial Cup. Over 1200 competition entrances were logged and KT TKD proved that country clubs can be competitive. With our youngest at 4 years old and our oldest in the seniors division, each student prepared diligently for this tournament. It was a difficult day but each student kept their cool and performed at their best. Thank you to the coaches and athletes for a memorable day. KT TKD would also like to thank the family members who worked hard to bring their students to this point. The school looks forward to our next big tournament in Michigan next year! We're missing a few of our members but see the local news paper in the coming days to get the full list!.

Our sweet guy Patchouli still has NO INQUIRIES OR INTEREST!

This guy is AMAZING with all dogs, every shape, size and temperament! He needs other dogs to help with his self confidence!
Patchouli LOVES the outdoors, loves to chase and be chased by other dogs, has ZERO issues with food/toys and loves to share. He attends ends doggy daycare on a regular basis and is crate trained.
He has been exposed to cats and has no issues and will always back off as he is very respectful when a dog or cat set the boundaries.

Likes to sleep in his crate or on the floor, not much of a furniture/couch dog.

Great Pyrenees/Border Collie, 8 months old, not too big. Very long and lanky but quite thin b***d. Approximately 65lbs at full adult size.

He is fully vetted and super healthy and happy!

$850 adoption fee includes everything - collars, leash, food bowls and foodstand, crate, bed, treats, toys and food!
