Celebrate 20 years of hip-hop arts and culture at the 2023 House of PainT urban arts festival.

This year’s main event is happening on Aug. 12 under the George Dunbar Bridge (100 Brewer Way). The festival starts at 2 p.m. and features family-friendly events that celebrate hip-hop culture including DJing, MCing, graffiti art and breakdancing.

Some members from Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg and other communities are raising concerns that a restaurant in Renfrew, Ont., is "making a mockery" of First Nations cultures from across North America.

The Ford government removed environmental protections on approximately 2,995 hectares of Greenbelt land in December — while adding more land elsewhere — to build 50,000 homes.

Bonnie Lysyk has been looking at the provincial government's removal of environmental protections from more than 2,995 hectares of land — while adding other land elsewhere — so that 50,000 homes can be built.
