Every track tells a story, the DJ a storyteller. I've been in the underground (rave) scene since 1997.

If you're looking for psytrance and goa trance, you've come to the right place. Not content with just listening to music, I'm now on a mission to compose my own masterpieces, collaborate with friends, and tell people a story using music and emotion. The electronic psychedelic music scene is alive and kicking in Ottawa. You won't find a happier, more friendly bunch of people. We're not just friends, we're family.

Wow, what a funtastic festival!

I am honored to have spent this past weekend socializing, partying, toking, drinking, [playing listening and dancing to] so much goa and psytrance, and setting up a new tent in the rain in the dark with so many new and old friends.

The best part was... everything between the start and the end.

The worst part was... drifting around the bend where the pavement suddenly transitions to a dirt road, causing my car to launch, land, and then drift around said bend, loaded down with fuel and generators.

I needed that. A perfect way to unwind, reset my motor, and gain a new appreciation for life.

One of the highlights of this weekend was meeting Ray Castle. Getting to hang out with him AND listen to some really great music he played for us.

All in all, it was an incredible journey, and I will never forget it. This was my first festival, and I can't imagine a better crowd to enjoy it with.

A special thank you to our festival grounds host Mark, who also threw down some sick beats, and kept a smile on my face the entire time.

My feet hurt, and I'm extremely tired.. It was 100% worth it.

July 6th is also our 22nd Anniversary, married to my wife and most bestest friend Amanda, It's hard to believe that it's been 22 years; where does the time go?

The party was a huge success. So many people dancing throughout the night. Everyone had fun, even the bartender, who asked Gordon if he would leave the decorations up for them after the party (to keep). Lol.

I had an absolute blast playing for everyone.

Ever hear a piece of music that was so truly deep and extremely interesting that you could never get it out of your head?

I play a lot of Destiny 2. Michael Salvator is an amazing music composer that wrote most of Destiny 1 and Destiny 2's music. Unfortunately he was laid off before Christmas 2023.

One of the many pieces he wrote that I love is titled Hidden Truth, from The Witch Queen chapter. This piece is one of many that are played when waiting in orbit or standing around at the Helm.

Give it a listen, at a decent volume, in its entirety, and enjoy the epic story that Michael is telling using what I can only say is the best key for such a tale. Each time you listen to it, pick a different instrument/element, and follow it through the piece, as each has its own special place in this absolutely beautiful track.

Sure wish I could go lay on my towel on the brilliant marble-sanded beaches of Santraginus V and inhale the heady sea vapors.

Instead I'm stuck on Trall with my towel wrapped around my head trying to avoid the gaze of the mind-bogglingly stupid Ravenous Bugblatter Beast.
