Larry O'Brien is on his 4th career, as he puts it. Previoulsy, he's been the founder and CEO of Calian Group, mayor of the City of Ottawa / Ville d’Ottawa and a physics technologist.

Now, he's the author of a sci-fi novel. 📖 He freely admits this was his toughest challenge to date. (Over being mayor of a large city!?! Wow.) 💥

While the novel is fiction, the idea is getting people thinking and talking about the dangers of AI. What could go wrong? How can it be misused? Are rights and privacy being protected? 🤖

Larry hopped on to my podcast to talk about his new book. We also discussed his careers and lessons learned along the way.

Robert has explained that moving is one of the most stressful things people have to endure in their lives. 😟 There are so many moving parts (pun intended) and it's a lot for anyone to manage. 📖 Pepper Anne wrote a true crime book called The Notorious Texas Swindler. The book is great, but the writing of the book also makes for a great story! 🐎 🐄

It took 12 years to write her book and during that time she (and her family) was under constant pressure and threat from some of the characters in the book not to publish.

Pepper Anne was determined to publish her book because the story needed to be told and people held accountable. She felt it was her duty to see justice served. ⚖
