The Caffeinated Horror Dude Podcast is coming! It’s not going to be your traditional podcast, in fact, it’s ultimately going to be an outlet for me to play some games and ramble about all aspects of horror, the paranormal, true crime and more. One of the things that makes me feel really good, is talking with customers at the cafe. Chatting about the latest horror movie, or Unsolved Mysteries, finding new friends to play horror video games with, and of course discussing coffee. Well with all the Halloween Ends controversy, I figured I’d make today’s movie another recent release that has seen nothing but a positive response from the horror community; Terrifier 2. Technically not in wide release as of yet, but select theatres in Canada will showing Terrifier 2 starting this weekend.

Everyone knows I love a good zom-com! I remember when Zombieland was announced and getting excited about it, then actually seeing it and loving it! So tonight I’m revisiting it and it’s sequel Zombieland: Double Tap.

After 2 watch thrus of Halloween Ends (I dunno, blame it on curiosity), I’m watching the OG Halloween to cleanse my palate. I love love love Halloween (1978). If you’re sad about Halloween Ends, just remember, it all began here, and there will always be that!

Wellll you knew it was gonna be my movie one day this week! I’m sure a lot of fans will be getting out this weekend to watch Halloween Ends. It’s great that it came out this close to Halloween. So a funny thing happened. A Spirit Halloween Movie was announced. The internet went a little nuts; how are they going to make that etc. Then a couple of recognizable names were added to the fold in Christopher Lloyd and Rachel Leigh Cook, and then…nothing! I think I even questioned if I imagined the whole thing. Anyways, guess what? It’s available for rent or purchase on YouTube. So tonight’s movie…The Spirit Halloween Movie.

While I personally don’t feel Ernest Scared Stupid holds up well, I’m told I’m stupid for feeling that way lol. Most people love it, and I do enjoy watching with with my kids. Either way, it’s today’s movie :)

One of my favourite Stephen King stories is up tonight for my movie selection. Children of the Corn starring Linda Hamilton and Peter Horton is in my annual rotation of movies. In fact, because it’s on the Roku Channel, and we have Roku at the cafe, I’ve thrown it on a number of times this year while I’m doing my work. There is a remake/sequel in the works which was supposed to have been out by now, but it seems to be in some sort of purgatory at the moment.

Ahh…leftover turkey day! I’m enjoying some amazing turkey turnovers, with some leftover squash, green beans, cheesy cauliflower and stuffing! Sooo good! Now, let’s see if I can keep all this down after watching Poultrygeist from Troma!
