HOME REMEDY REVIEW PART 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO!

ONION IN SOCKS. Onions are high in quercetin and sulpher. They have anti-inflammatory properties and MAY help with cold SYMPTOMS.

Pros: Cutting into the onion helped release nasal congestion instantly. Inexpensive to try.

Cons: Jury is out on whether the onion sitting beside my bed or the ones in my socks actually worked throughout the night. I still woke up coughing once. Also, it's messy and requires a bit more clean up than I wanted to do at 4am. If you have a small space, you need to clear out ALL the onion right away, and allow time for a shower immediately after removing your socks.

Synopsis: Helped with nasal congestion out of the gate. Worth trying if your cold confines you to your house and you don't have to worry about early morning wake-ups. What do you have to lose after a 5-week cold?!

Overall rating: MEDIUM at best. 🤣

On New Year's Eve, Robin and her friend Lisa went to see a musical in Toronto, and Lisa got stuck sitting behind....A HEAD BOBBER!!! 🤣

She spent 3 hours moving her head back and forth and shifting around in her seat so she could see around him.
