FPV FRIDAY #51 ✈️
THE FINAL FRIDAY!!!
It feels fitting to close out my 2024 FPV FRIDAY challenge with this entry.
After two years of turning my passion for flying into a business, I realized something—I wasn’t flying for me anymore. I wasn’t exploring new spots, practicing new skills, or creating just for the love of it. Somewhere along the way, I forgot what drew me to FPV in the first place: the adventures, the drive to improve, and the joy of editing videos purely for fun.
So this year, I challenged myself to make a video every Friday.
Did it reignite that first love I had for FPV? Honestly, no. But it did teach me some important things. I’ve realized I can’t imagine my life without FPV. It still takes my breath away when I turn the drone around to capture a beautifully composed shot. I still get a rush from nailing tight gaps or soaring through simple, tree-lined parks.
This challenge also taught me the importance of consistency and, most importantly, prioritizing myself and my well-being over staying endlessly busy with “jobs.” And looking back, I can confidently say I’m a better version of myself than I was last year—grateful for the growth and the lessons along the way.
For anyone interested, I’ve uploaded all my Friday edits to a highlight reel, but this journey was always about something more personal—my experience, my reflection.
