Let’s talk content strategy!

A content strategy ensures your content is following your goals, provides value and encourages your audience to engage and interact.

So how do you create one?

Understand your target market: Who is your audience? Understand who they are, what they like/dislike, and what they want to hear and build content based on who you are trying to market to

Create goals: Identify what you want to get out of social media. Maybe it’s more followers, more likes, more sales. Clearly outline your goals and link key performance indicators that you’ll use to measure the success of these goals.

Identify content pillars: Find the main topics and messaging you’ll want to include in your content. We recommend 3-4 pillars that include all the topics you’ll be discussing. Think of this as the overall theme you will discuss and from there you can break it down into specific content ideas

Create a posting schedule: Schedule days of the week that you want to be active and post content! This helps you visualize what content you need and holds you accountable.

This is the foundation for your strategy! Once you start posting, use your results to adjust as needed.
