Happy New Year Everyone! Ja Mixdowns here, part owner and studio manager of IDIO Sound Lab and I’m really excited to announce the official release and publications of my first 2 books. Im also the owner of a music education company and these books are a brand new addition to my products line. Another artist we love is ALPHA CENTAURI - who recently re orded a 3 song live video/ audio recording here.

His full album, being released in February, was recoded at IDIO. He has upcoming tours with some heavy hitter Grammy winning/multi- platinum American hip hop artists fir 2025. In the past year he played with the likes of Method Man/Red Man, Ja Rule, and Chali2na /Cut Chemist.

A great day yesterday at IDIO! We want to thank the students for coming to check out the new space. A lot of impressive young talent in that school that have a bright future in the music industry. Magic happened last week at IDIO Sound Lab.

Happy Friday Everyone! We’re excited and grateful to announce that Idio Sound Lab is officially open for business as of today, Friday December 13th. Please come join us for a soft launch of the studio today and come take a look at the new facility. We will be open from noon until late. We are getting our new studio set up! We have 3 control rooms, 1 live room, 4 soundproof practice / teaching rooms - plus a bunch of great add-on services including video packages, mixing, mastering, rehearsal space rentals, teaching rooms, podcast spaces, and much more.

The new studio is located in the heart of New Westminster - in the Uptown neighbourhood. Specifically at 625 5th Avenue, Unit B01.

This is such a big deal for us and a significant upgrade from our former location in Surrey.
