Dearest Traveler,

The veil between worlds is growing thin, and the time has come to embark on a journey unlike any other. At 345pm of September 18, 2024, we summon you to a realm of wonder and enchantment at the majestic Falls of Nymph.

Here, amidst the whispering waters and dusklit trees, the World of Wild Craft Play beckons with promises of magic, mystery, and magnificent tales. As dusk falls and the stars awaken, the Falls of Nymph will transform into a portal of endless possibilities, where the line between reality and fantasy blurs into one breathtaking adventure.

Why Answer the Call?

✨ Dive into a Living Story: Immerse yourself in an intricate world where every choice and action shapes the unfolding narrative. Your destiny awaits amidst the mystical flora and ancient spirits.

🌿 Meet Enigmatic Characters: Encounter a host of captivating NPCs, each with their own secrets, stories, and quests. Will you forge alliances, uncover hidden truths, or perhaps discover a calling you never expected?

Must be at least 14 years old - goes to 108 or older

Free access to the online portal where we connect and develop our Characters, source resources and supplies and prepare.

Your first day on Sept 18, orient to the land, the people and the task.

Once we all feel ready to invite Player Characters, let the Quest Begin.

NPCs must review the storyline, have read the Playbook, and bring any required materials or let us know if you need assistance.

Advanced NPCs get extra XP and benefits........
All Non-Player Characters (NPCs): Pay $5-$15/session
Story Crafters (SCs) in Training: Pay $15-$25/session - more educating and support is required.

Dive into what to do, how to do it and ignite your skills onsite. Learn by doing from a Master of Adventure. Hone your skills outside.

Prep time is required to ensure all aspects of the Quest are ready.........

My name is Jamie Black, aka HummingBard, aka Faythe (a Level 67 Druid). For years I have guided thousands of people, young and old, on adventures with little to no reasources, or things upcycled and freecycled, to ignite and engage people in accomplishing what I call "heart skills" while building a relationship with Earth, eachother and themselves.

You know those skills that we gain like, listening, communication, coping, breathing, not taking other people's actions personally, and the many other life skills you can imagine. The ones that are nearly unseen, and not usually taught... That's what I'm talking about.

I believe that the most fun way to learn those life skills is through play, especially outside. When I learned that what I do could be considered Live Action Role Play, I laughed... because I didn't know there was a name for it, I just did it. I've been doing this on my own for over 20 years, and realized that if I had a community of support where I could go...

- Share my woe's and triumphs

- Laugh, cry, and giggle

- Make mistakes, judgements and fail safely

- Be heard

- Hear other people's stories

I think I would be a lot further along in life than I am now.

A year ago we created an App called Earth Guides through Circle.so. This is a safe and private place where we can connect, learn, grow and share as a Community of Support.

We are now opening Cohort #6 in our Story Crafter's Training.
Well you come have a seat, grab a cuppa and learn what it's about.

We permit people to join Free for 1 week, to see if it's a good fit for you.

This is partially self-paced learning journey, except for those times where we need things to be completed on time.

On or near Central Vancouver Island.
High quality accommodations, a sauna, nature hikes, river, stream or water, and great food?....
We are celebrating 20 years of being in service to Children and Earth, with adventurous outdoor play, and wish to come together in healing, visioning work, ridiculous play and good food.

We want this retreat to be wrapped around the end of a year, likely Early Oct, including:

These Tree Wishes are hand made by our local Wizard Ronaldo. He is one of our kind woodsman, who is an arborist among many other skills, and hand-crafts these sweet tree wishes for our Wild Craft Live Action Role Play Club.

We will be wood burning Celtic Tree Ogham Alphabet onto our Tree Wishes and using them to divine the future, to give as an offering to Nature spirits and use for crafting, decorating and twiddling. For example, there’s always something we want from the Faeries, and they only accept silver or biodegradable items.
