Finally got some 361s! For me, this is big, because you could say I’m a bit of a Dolby addict. Nice to have two also, because I barely have two of anything.

If anyone has any spare bulbs let me know. Totally don’t need them, but just think they look sweet hah.

Finally got a pair of these, after wanting them for about 5 years now. What these do has become a big part of my workflow, but I’ve only ever used Plugins to achieve it. Mainly been using Dopamine by Overloud. I really recommend it. Also, I have a couple extra cards that I can try a couple different mods on, so that will be a fun time. If anyone out there has any suggestions for card modifications let me know.

The MBP IMO, is such a flexible unit, and has a lot to offer.
It’s kind of a hard unit to really explain, because 5 years in to owning one, it’s one of those things where I’ll still discover something new, or a new way I like to use it, or dial it in on something. There’s just a lot to learn/discover about this unit, even though it may not seem that way.

I always hear people say like, I just like it for mastering, or just for mixing, but I’ve found so much success using this for mixing, mastering, tracking, etc. Actually, for Overheads it’s one of my fave things ever. It sounds so natural on the cymbals, and keeps the snare, and toms nice and levelled, even at like 6-10db GR, and in parallel, it’s especially amazing. Parallel snare it’s awesome, esp with the limiter just in a hair, tracking vocals it keeps things as contained as you want, but never messes with the tone,

Just Rippin some Rhythm Guitars!

Kept it pretty simple for this session, nothing crazy, other than 2 Amps. Worked out nicely!

Setup- We wanted to use the Guitarist’s Modded Traynor, (800 kinda vibe), but it was having intermittent issues, so subbed in my 900, which never usually lets me down.
