Spotlight Academy Spring Break Film Camps for Kids and Teens – Now Open for Registration!

No experience? No problem!

Join our Full Throttle Film Camp, where teens will jump into the exciting world of filmmaking. They’ll get hands-on experience in many areas, including story creation, preproduction, cinematography, sound, acting, editing, and more.

Filmmakers will be divided into groups to create a short 3-minute film together. Each participant will have a chance to be part of the cast and crew. This collaborative process will help them learn new skills and understand filmmaking better. At the end of the camp, they’ll have a movie to showcase to family and friends!

Vancouver Island Symphony

February 8th!

Embued with humour and sensitivity, this entertaining show perfectly reflects the creative madness of Natalie Choquette , a diva-actress who doesn’t think of herself as… a diva! We are delighted to have Natalie return to perform with the VIS. Enjoy the music of Webber, Rogers and Hammerstein, Bernstein, Bizet, Offenbach, Piaf, Rossini and Puccini. A night of musical comedy to be remembered!

Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, affectionately known as "The Trocks," is an all-male drag ballet troupe that has been pirouetting into the hearts of audiences since 1974. Founded by a group of ballet enthusiasts in New York City, the company set out to present a playful and entertaining view of traditional classical ballet. Their performances are a delightful blend of technical prowess and comedic brilliance, as male dancers don tutus and perform en pointe, parodying both male and female roles.
