July 23, 2026 is the date, and the location is the amazing Le Belvedere, and it will be rocking with their families and friends bouncing on the dance floor! Looking forward to working with them and making this another great day!

Wedding #1 for 2025 is in the books and it was a barn burner on the dance floor!

Gabrielle and Zach had been Married officially the day before, so todays Ceremony was for the sake of the families and friends in attendance and was officiated by a friend, who did a great job! Once the Ceremony was done, we moved everything to another room in the hotel for Cocktails and Dinner / Reception.

I introduced them into the room and followed up by introducing the MC's for the evening, who took over and led party through the speeches and first dances. Tonight's first dance for Gabrielle and Zach was Tim McGraw's My Best Friend. They decided to do their first dance as the last dance of the three (the two Parent dances came first) and had everyone join them on the dance floor for the 2nd half of the song to populate the floor into the opening of dancing. Dancing took off and never looked back the rest of the evening. Lots of fun with this group! The night ended at the scheduled time of midnight with a full dance floor celebrating a great couple till the end!

Thank You Gabrielle and Zach for entrusting Octave Entertainment with your dance floor today, it was fantastic working with you guys to make sure that all went off as you wanted. I will be looking for you guys on another dance floor in the future! Wishing you all the best in your life together.

The Lord Elgin Hotel, The Venue (https://lordelginhotel.ca/). One of the prestigious and historic hotels in the heart of Ottawa. Everything was organized and ran smooth throughout the day. My first time working this venue.

Russo Events, The Day Of Coordinator. I had the pleasure of working Adriana and Jamie's Wedding in 2023, and was pleasantly surprised to see Adriana as the Coordinator of todays Wedding. They did a great job at keeping the early part of the day organized and moving forward. Got alot of chats in when time permitted. Great to see them again. Give them a look if looking for an event coordinator!

Morgan Nordskog Photography, The Photographer (https://www.morgannordskog.ca/). First time working with Morgan. Had plenty of opportunity during dinner to chat, which was great. She was up and running around taking plenty of photos throughout the evening. Take a look at her pages and give her a shout if looking for a photographer.

That's it for now... not much going on through the end of February, but March slowly starts to pick up before hitting the road for the summer working a pile of Weddings with a pile of amazing couples. Stay Tuned!

Its a smaller show, but its local, and I'm hoping it helps promote the venue its being held at as a new venue for people to consider for their Wedding Day, or even any other events. And... How I like to end every year... with the couples I have worked with over the past 12 months. Congratulations to all of you again, and I hope your Wedding's went off exactly as you hoped they would.

To all of the vendors I got to work with this year... It is always a pleasure to deal with some of the best in the region and we are lucky to have each other out there on the road.
