Qualités requises:

Un Animateur / Motion Graphics Designer pour faire partie de notre équipe
Forte connaissance de PS, AE et C4D
Connaissance de la typographie utilisée dans les médias numériques ainsi que de la composition et de la couleur. À jour avec les tendances dans le domaine des motion graphics et des effets visuels.
A un sense du style et de l’esthétique visuelle et est ouvert à essayer des approches et des styles différents.
La connaissance du montage vidéo et de l'intégration des images live-action est un plus pour nous.

I/O is hiring a 3D Animator & Motion Designer.

I/O is a production agency based out of Montreal, Canada. We are a close-knit team of creatives that make higher-concept visual content for; brands, companies and - sometimes just for us. Our studio space and office is located in a picture perfect spot (wink) near the Lachine canal/St-Henri area. Ability to work from home for now with the goal of returning to a collaborative studio work environment in the near future.

The ideal candidate is a passionate and skilled motion designer, who is familiar with the whole post-production workflow and feels confident within a variety of techniques and styles of 3D animation and motion design. They show a keen interest in growing their expertise and have an appetite to make extraordinary things, all the while embracing a professional collaborative environment.

We’re Looking For:
• An Animator / Motion Graphics Designer to collaborate with our creative team in-house
• Ideal candidate has a strong technical knowledge in PS, AE, & C4D (let us know what else you like to use!)
• Good knowledge of typography in digital media, color and composition, along with good awareness of trends in motion and visual effects.
• A strong sense of style and visual aesthetic, and open to trying various stylistic approaches.
• Knowledge of editing and integrating live-action footage and compositing is a huge plus for us.
• At least two years experience working within agency, freelance and/or post-house setting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills French and/or English – ideally both!

I/O is looking for a 3D Motion Designer.
Position: Full-time - in house

I/O is a video agency based in Montreal, Canada. We are a small versatile team that focuses on pushing creative boundaries in the film, tv, and digital landscape. Having a multi-skilled approach provides us with a thriving ecosystem for any and all ideas to come to life. And while video production and post-production are at the core of our offering; motion graphics, VFX, and 2D/3D animation are tools we use often and keep sharp at all times.

The ideal candidate is a passionate and skilled motion designer, who is familiar with the whole post-production workflow and feels confident within a variety of techniques and different styles of animation. A great team player, but also comfortable taking the start of an idea to the finish line. Someone who is resourceful, and excited to test/try out new techniques.

Required:
- Strong knowledge in C4D & After Effects
- Can work with PC (windows)
- Must speak English and/or French

Bonus points:
- Specific techniques: Compositing, 2D/3D (tracking, rotoscopy, modeling, texturing, animation, lighting, etc.)
- Traditional NLE skills, comfortable with Premiere Pro
- Sound Design and any music background
- Graphic design experience, including print/web

I/O is a boutique production house in Montreal (QC), specialized in commercial & creative video production. Our ideal candidate has strong organization/communication skills, is bilingual (EN/FR), and has experience working within the production/post-production field.

Responsibilities include:
- basic bookkeeping
- Draft production budgets
- organize production & post-production schedules
- manage studio & studio equipment rentals
- manage a small team through production & post-production
- Handle communications with clients (good communication skills in EN & FR)
- oversee projects from pre-production until final delivery
- keep track and fulfill all daily administrative tasks/paperwork (payroll, invoicing, paying suppliers…)
- hire temporary staff on bigger productions
- Coordinate with actors' unions (ACTRA & UDA)
- Coordinate with outside rental companies (vehicles, equipment, etc.)
- Oversee logistics during productions (crew safety, meals, transport, accommodations...)

Requirements:

- Strong knowledge of excel, Quickbooks and other management software.
- Bilingual (EN/ FR)
- Minimum 3 years experience in related field.
