🕷️V Black Tattoos / Verónica Escobar black.tattoos

✹ Verónica Escobar, known artistically as V Black Tattoos, is a Colombian tattoo artist based in Montreal. Specializing in blackwork, her style encompasses illustrative, botanical, and tribal designs with a focus on details and precision, primarily using the whip shading technique.

✹ Her approach is to be part of people’s self-discovery journey using tattooing as a medium to manifest and communicate through the body. She feels grateful to be part of her clients’ transformative process, as well as for the connections and places she has discovered thanks to tattooing.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT ✨

Montréal est une ville où la créativité fleurit; et une artiste repousse les limites avec son travail vibrant et multiculturel. Avec des racines en Iran, en Allemagne, en Algérie et au Canada, l’art de Nedima Ziarati s’étend de miniatures persanes à des techniques chinoises, en passant par un style bohème. Elle n’adhère pas aux traditions ; elle les réinvente. Le résultat est audacieux, dynamique et déborde de vie.

Son inspiration est profonde, enracinée dans les contes de fées européens qui l’ont enchantée lorsqu’elle était enfant. Elle infuse son art de cette même idée de magie et de mystère ; créant des œuvres visuellement riches qui offrent une échappatoire à la monotonie de la vie moderne. Chaque création semble être un monde autonome ; un refuge rempli de merveilles.

Ce qui distingue Nedjma des autres artistes n’est pas seulement son talent et sa discipline, mais aussi sa vision. Elle crée un univers qui transcende les frontières culturelles ; connectant ainsi les individus et les histoires d’une manière colorée et fraîche. Son approche unique incarne l’esprit artistique de Montréal : diversifió ambitieux et résolument original.

Please join us for our third multilingual poetry night + Drink&Draw ! ✨

A classic night of international tongues and quips! Of rhyme and song! And now for the first time ever we’re having a simultaneous drink and draw! Catch Montreal’s artistic community grooving to .feelgould in probably the most wildly decorated bar in Canada: .magnifique

At our last event we had performances in multiple languages, maybe you’ll add a performance in a new one! You don’t want to miss this unique experience.

Hosted by the ever-talented this event takes place from 7-11pm and has both sign up performance slots and an open mic. Bring your art supplies, journals and paints! In this artistic environment, creation is encouraged.

is an aspiring community oriented organization, so in an attempt to make this event as open and accessible as possible it will be PayWhatYouCan (PWYC)! Please consider donating as we use the proceeds to fund these and other events!

[WE STILL HAVE SPACE - UPDATE] thank you so so much for all your submissions. So far we got 25 pieces from different artists at the Cafe! My heart is filled and happy.

Hi guys✨ La Jungle Café located in Beaubien is looking for artists who’d like to share or sell their art! Their aim is to fill the left wall / corridor with Illustrations, Drawings, Pictures, Prints and Paintings.

No fee associated with the showcase. This is mostly for the exposure of the artist. The art exhibition time goes for 2 months at the café!

We are helping the manager with the installation process and selection of artists. If you’re interested you can send us a DM with your email and Instagram handle ( if you have pictures of your portfolio there)!
