At Fidelio, we have developed over the last ten years our own proprietary system in conjunction with state of the art audio equipment manufacturers. It is the most accurate and the most musical mastering system available today, earning recognition from our peers and from the specialized trade publications around the world. The Fidelio standard resolution of the mastering transfer is DXD 24Bits/352.8kHz or DSD. From that resolution, Fidelio offers the most popular download HD format – 24Bits/96kHz, 24Bits/88.2kHz or 24Bits/48kHz. Fidelio also offers 24Bits/176.4kHz or 24Bits/192kHz, as well as DSD formats for high end download websites. A higher resolution transfer leads to a more open sound and the feeling that there is no ceiling because there is less digital filter.

This is one of my best sounding records. Compared to « Empathy » with Shelly Manne, which is also an extraordinary good sounding release, the piano does sound just perfect here unlike on « Empathy ». The pressing on mine is flat and dead quiet. The vinyl of these 2HD releases like « Jazz at the Pawnshop » are very thick and of high quality. The bass is incredible, perfect timing, fast and deep. Airy resolution with wide soundstage. I am stunned!

It was a very special moment for me this week to exchange with the legendary Bernie Grundman and Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman mastering in Hollywood who cut all the Fidelio 2xHD vinyl’s.

I send tapes every mouth to them that I mastered from original tapes session at 2xhd Mastering in all analog and create a edit tapes on NAGRA equipments so they can cut in all analog and all vacuum tubes from my NAB 1/4 inch production masters tapes.

This album is absolutely phenomenal. The recording on all the tracks are very intimate and gives you the feeling of almost being there. The pressing is very good and spot on. Both records were in a fantastic shape. 225m 75m 75

Incredibly good sounding pressing, it’s a pity they skipped the quality of the cover, they could have done it much better.

Sound quality and dynamics are outstanding! That being said, for what you’re paying the graphics and sleeve leave a lot to be desired. Included booklet has a short history on Webster. How about some info on when and where these songs were played? All in all 4 stars but it could have been so much better...

Very quiet and dynamic album. Typical smooth and amazing Ben Webster fills your room and piano sounds really good. Definitely recommend it.

..this was one of the best for me, extremely natural sound and would of listened all day..

Nagra Audio always impresses me every time I hear the music that they are able to make …at Munich they were using the equally impressive Stenheim Audio speakers which sounded incredible with such wonderful music played and thanks to Rene Laflamme from 2xHD who was demonstrating the beautiful music that this system manages to create, I have heard Nagra with Focal, YG Acoustics, Rockport and now Stenheim and this was one of the best for me, extremely natural sound and would of listened all day but at a show this size time is not on my side.

Les McCann - DSD Jazz in Stereo DSD 256, DSD 128 & DSD 64

Les McCann Live At The Village Vanguard 1967 features legendary Jazz Pianist Les McCann and his trio. Featuring Leroy Vinnegar on Double Bass and Frank Severin on Drums.

The tracks were recorded by Resonance Records founder and co-president George Klabin at the Village Vanguard on July 16, 1967.

The album is an official release in cooperation with Les McCann. It was transferred from the Original Analog Tape Reels and is made available to NativeDSD Music by 2xhd Mastering
