✨NEWS ALERT ✨
TikTok's new creator fund, the Creativity Program, is now in beta testing in the US, France, and Brazil. The program requires users to create "high-quality, original videos that are longer than one minute" in order to be eligible for payment. This is a significant departure from TikTok's usual short-form content and is a deliberate move to expand the platform's capabilities and attract a wider range of creators. The company has signaled its commitment to long-form content and live streams, as it seeks to diversify its offering and compete with other social media platforms. While the program is currently invite-only, it will eventually be open to all eligible users, providing new opportunities for creators to monetize their content and push the boundaries of what's possible on the platform.
