HOLY MOLY! It's been 3 years that SBT is up and running. I (Steph) want to start by thanking everyone who has followed the journey and supported our growth.

In the last 3 years, I have learned so much about the music industry, and about myself. One thing that has stood out to me is the importance and power of teamwork. As some of you may know, I have decided to take my artist management career to Left Brain Entertainment where I have partnered up with my good friend Shay Behboodi. Meaning, SBT is embarking on a new journey.

SBT will continue to offer Tour Management services but will also be offering Artist Management consultations (for both artists and managers) as well as writing services (such as writing bio's or creating EPK's). There is also a "secret project" in the works which I cannot wait to share with all of you. Be patient with this one, I promise it will be worth it ;)

As mental health is a #1 priority at SBT, I (Steph) decided to put together a mental health blog series for the month of May.

May is Mental Health Awareness month and is in turn a perfect time to open the discussion about mental health. There is still such a stigma surrounding these types of discussions but something that helped me throughout my struggles was hearing other people’s experiences and learning from their growth.

This series, title “Behind The Shield”, highlights 5 music industry professionals, all working in different departments within the music industry. They were all keen to answer some questions and share their stories.

There are a lot of valuable lessons, experiences, and resources in each of these articles and my hope is that our words can resonate with you and reduce the stigma surrounding these discussions.
