Coming from a dancerâs background, Karuna is a DJ driven by a deep passion for the fusion of music and dance. Sheâs recognized for her bass-heavy sets that seamlessly blend diverse cultural influences, with a penchant for deep, dubby sounds and intricate high-energy breaks.
Frantz Lin is an emerging rapper and songwriter in hip-hop. Before his solo debut, he wrote media theory, worked at MUTEK, and co-founded the Transpacific Express collective with NGL Flounce. Black music has been his spiritual bedrock ever since he encountered jazz and soul as a teenager.
Meiiyun is a multidisciplinary artist who draws on his experiences in dance performance and visual art to inspire his music selections as a DJ. He is interested in connecting the dots of music and body-awareness to create a unique experience for listeners and introduce music thatâs often missing in club settings. He merges electronic, percussive, and folk sounds to explore themes such as longing, stamina, subversion, gentleness, and nostalgia.
NGL Flounce is a Franco-Malagasy DJ, producer, musician, and co-founder of the Transpacific Express artist collective. NGL Flounce is passionate about designing cross-cultural connections and attributes their love for club music to the emotional release it provides, so their sets earnestly tell stories they dub âclub cryâ with a selection of global club genres.
