I used to try to control everything and make everything look perfect. Burn energy cleaning, planning, fixing details no one would notice.

But the older I get, the more I realize what actually lingers isn’t how a house looked. It’s how made people feel inside it.

I don’t want guests perched on the edge of my couch, worried about messing something up.

These days, I aim for ease over polish and presence over performance.

So if this sounds like you too, consider this your permission to relax your shoulders a little.

I’ve never been into trend predictions. “This is in, this is out” has always felt like clickbait to me.
I do, however, notice patterns.
These are a few things I keep seeing lately. Familiar ideas resurfacing, often in quieter and more interesting ways than before.
Nothing new, really.
Just old references finding new footing.
