"I Earned $200K Taking Online Surveys with these 2 AI tools working 3h/day"⁣

"I escaped the matrix and made $350K with this unknown Lead Generation Strategy."⁣

I've read SO many claims like this recently on LinkedIn from "side hustle experts." 🙄⁣

The next time some rando influencer posts their supposed earnings from get-rich-quick schemes, please keep this in mind...⁣

Yes! Building a business is NOT easy. It's crazy hard and it's NOT for everyone.⁣

These gurus you see, just want your attention because they're SELLING something to desperate people looking for the get rich quick.⁣

They're marketing masters.⁣

And their claims of easy overnight millions are almost certainly nonsense or exaggerations.⁣

I know because I fell for this hustle culture BS in my early 20s...⁣

The fake gurus...the "Laptop Lifestyle"...the promise of passive income riches by gaming systems with flashy emojis like these: 💸😎🏖️⁣

Turns out it was all hype to pull in the desperate, naive and impatient (like me) so we'd buy some scam "proven business model" course or sneaky upsell funnel.⁣

5 years later, it blows my mind to see the SAME sketchy marketing tactics and vibe creeping into mainstream business content especially on YouTube.⁣

Sure they use fancier corporate buzzword salad about "Drop shipping" and "YouTube Automation."⁣

But it's the same get-rich-quick, fake wealth appeal repackaged.⁣

Look for genuine thought leaders with substantial experience and proven results.⁣

Moral of the story? If the income claims sound too good be true...they almost always ARE.⁣

From a jobless father & scared to the founder of a video agency, my journey continues! Click below to dive into my next episode!

1. Navigating the Early Morning Hustle:

Facing my fatherhood in the next 10 months, I was unemployed, and grappling with financial uncertainty, my life was far from what I had envisioned.

Feeling lost yet driven by an unyielding sense of purpose, I dared to reach for my entrepreneurial dream.

With only passion, a knack for film and editing, and an insatiable thirst for success as my resources, I found myself standing at the precipice of a journey that was about to redefine my life.

Fasten your seat belts, folks - This is one wild ride you won't want to miss!

Stay tuned as I unravel my compelling voyage from obscurity to entrepreneurial success in the realm of video production.

2. Early Risers Reap Rewards:

- Jobless but not defeated, I hit the city streets at dawn, knocking on store doors for video gigs to sustain my family. Timing was crucial.

I knew morning meetings were key. Lesson: Good timing is often the unsung hero of business success.

3. From Hopeless to Grateful:

- After relentless pursuit, I secured a $400 video gig for a bohemian furniture store. Check it out [link below]. The joy was immense, turning hopelessness into gratitude. A reminder that faith and hard work pay off.

4. From Triumph to Trial:

- The initial success was short-lived. The client undervalued my work, refused fair payment, and ghosted me after initial success. Lesson learned: Don't work with clients who don't recognize your value. Know your ideal customer persona (ICP), and be selective.

5. Navigating Challenges:

- I ventured into real estate and photography gigs but realized my strength was in video. I made the bold move to niche down, forming a team for luxury car businesses. Sometimes, the key is knowing when to pivot.

6. Lessons from the Journey:

- Sacrifice at the start for portfolios and success stories, then be discerning in choosing clients. Some experiences are stepping stones, guiding you toward your true calling.

7. Next Episode Preview:

- I invite you to join me as I chronicle my entrepreneurial journey in the coming weeks!

Stay tuned for the next episode! I'll delve into how I kickstarted my entrepreneurial journey, met my first creators, and closed my first 4-figure deal as an independent video creator and creative entrepreneur.

Business dreams or personal love?
The choice nearly shredded my world.

When Chris joined as a designer at my tech company, we instantly bonded over post-work workouts. As French immigrants, we both sought greatness abroad.

Chris recounted his gritty journey launching a digital magazine and media agency from his Montreal basement, facing endless setbacks without stability. Meanwhile, I coasted in my cushy but dull corporate gig.

Witnessing his tenacity firsthand awoke my latent conviction. I had zero excuse not to wholeheartedly nurture my own entrepreneurial spirit. Our friendship sparked a creative reciprocal loop as Chris awakened my curiosity for visual arts and storytelling.

We began shooting artistic photo concepts around the city after-hours using cobbled gear, determined to transform this passion into a skillset. I voraciously absorbed YouTube tutorials on mastering cameras, lighting, editing software.

Eventually, we rented a small studio to devote all our energy into this visual wizardry that flowed through me spiritually. I’d race there from lectures, intoxicated by boundless possibility, as corporate life faded away.

I also had the opportunity to do my first Canadian road trip from Quebec to Nova Scotia - Cap Breton (19 hours of driving).

Just Amazing!

Until I met her. As an all-consuming new relationship sparked, my laser focus split - torn between nurturing this soaring love and my budding vocation.

With happiness came compromise. And loss of direction. Before diving deeper into love’s seas, I still needed to chart my professional voyage...

The biggest struggles I’ve faced on my winding entrepreneurial journey so far:

1) Following fleeting passions like a nomad rather than committing to a clear vision.

2) Isolating myself from inspirational dream-chasers who could reignite conviction when mine wavers.

3) Viewing skills development as a chore rather than immersing as a humble lifelong student.

9 years ago I left my island paradise home in Tahiti. Spending my childhood on that island seems like a dream.

Endless summer days surfing warm ocean waves without a care in the world. My life was coconut water and sandy beaches. What more could you want, really?

But even between swaying palms and postcard sunsets, I felt a hunger for more stir inside me at 18 years old. Wow, time flies!

I saw the fatigue in my mother's eyes when she returned from a soul-draining job. I made a promise to myself then - I didn't want that for my future. Why settle when each sunrise gifts possibility? When you come from somewhere so beautiful, you feel destined for meaning.

So after a local degree, I left family and home to study Storytelling & Marketing in Australia. The transition overwhelmed but my vision persevered. I wove my island's adventurous spirit into a purposeful career pursuit.

When I returned to Tahiti, the longing resurfaced. I still felt unfulfilled despite having a degree and job. I craved change and challenge again. With my mother as inspiration, I leapt once more.

This time I left Tahiti's warmth for video marketing school in chilly Montreal. Five winters now but I welcome the storm. When I help businesses make waves with video, I feel my island's momentum carry me still.

I found my calling by leaving home but paradise lives through the stories I'm honored to tell.

An island soul with bigger dreams to chase. Does this resonate? Share your story too!

I'll document my journey here openly – past failures and wins.
