What's the connection between The Cult's "Electric" album and Salvador Dali?? The "Aphrodisiac Jacket" and "Lobster Telephone" were all works of art by Dali from the 1930's! Check the photo below. JC: Darren “Geppetto” Moreash is a Halifax area lad who’s been crafting marionettes off and on for 25 years. But when he started creating marionettes of rock stars and celebs, that’s when his hobby turned into a cottage industry with a global reach. And they’ve been paying the bills for a decade now.
Check out Billy Idol and Steve Stevens with their new marionettes at the Halifax show last month. Steve set Darren up with tix and backstage passes. The only thing better was front row centre from James Taylor when he took delivery of his marionette!
Other cool encounters include the Cheap Trick video made exclusively from Darren’s marionettes (“I Want You For Christmas”), Myles Goodwyn made a video from a set (“I Hate To See You Go”). There’s a Gene Simmons marionette in the KISS World Museum and a Brad Whitford in the Aerosmith Museum. We are proud to announce our maze this year is honoring the incredible UNB REDS hockey team! The REDS had a perfect regular season followed up with a perfect playoff run to claim the 2024 University Cup this March and a 43-0 record.
The likeness enshrined in the maze is none other than head coach and fellow Maritimer Gardiner MacDougall. After an incredible 24 year long career with the UNB REDS marked with historic success, we couldn't be happier to celebrate his and the team's championship run!
In the wise words of Coach MacDougall himself: "Consistency is the mother of excellence. Incremental improvement is the father." With that we look forward to another beautiful fall season starting this weekend September 7th and 8th. Go REDS!

The footage is then circulated among online networks and used to further control and extort the young victims. In many cases, perpetrators are minors themselves. Victims may end up being encouraged or coerced into victimizing others."
