Mediapro Canada's multiformat HD mobile Eclipse was at DRV PNK Stadium last night with engineers Rodney and Ben to provide broadcast services for Mediapro U.S.'s production of an international club friendly between two giants of Latin American football: Peru's Club Universitario de Deportes vs Club Atlético Nacional Oficial of Colombia, with live coverage aired on GOLPERU and Win Sports.

Escaping the cold north of the 49th, our 53' 1080p HDR-capable mobile unit Alto headed down to California to cover a pair of NCAA Men's Division 1 college basketball games. First up was the Colorado Buffaloes vs California Golden Bears at Haas Arena in Berkeley, followed by the matchup between Portland Pilots and Saint Mary's Gaels just down the road in Moraga. Next up, international soccer friendlies in Florida!

Back on the College Football beat! Mediapro Canada was at Nippert Stadium in Cincinnatti to provide broadcast services for live coverage UKansas v U Cincinnati, in their last regular season game, in front of a near-capacity crowd of 38,200!

REMI (Remote Integration Model) production is becoming standard for live sports events across North America and Mediapro Canada is at the forefront, with our entire fleet of mobile units equipped with the technology and several years under our belt of providing REMI production for major sports events across the country.

Today, we had five cameras and a dozen crew in Kingston, ON, working through our REMI-capable 53' HD mobile unit Alto, with the video and audio signals sent back to our central control room in Mississauga where it was all switched, mixed and transmitted to our partners , CBC Sports and TVA Sports.

Mediapro Canada crews were on the job today in Kingston, ON and back in our studios in Mississauga for our five-camera unilateral REMI production of the 2023 Canada Life Vanier Cup, the gridiron football championship for our partners, U SPORTS Canada, CBC Sports / CBC Gem (English) and TVA Sports (French).

At the end of the day, on a sunny afternoon at Richardson Stadium at Kingston’s Queen's University, the Université de Montréal Carabins held off the UBC Thunderbirds to seal a hard-fought 16-9 win for just their second title in the program’s history.
