I finally did it! I got my Life Insurance Agent License with the best group of people who encouraged me. Just so appreciate Annette and Tyler for being there for me as I went through this process with our WFG family. I believe so much in making these right choices. Both me, my Dad, and too, friends I have known, have not. I am now paying more than I was at 23 for way less... if I had just kept my insurance plan when I was 23... :( but the agents didn't give you the education required to know... letting go of that policy was one of the worst things I have done in my life... one... but a big one. Anyway, I am just so excited... to educate others.

Amazing Birthday day with very special people. My friend of 50 years, Denise Powell (and we agree that we think that number is a lie), my gorgeous Mom Lachlan Ross Campbell, and beautiful daughter Nikki, and amazing beautiful sister Janet R. Campbell. Not in the picture are two wonderful partners to two of these lovely ladies. Will, my daughter’s endearing boyfriend and Steve, who, although I called him my sister’s husband for years! I can now officially call him my brother-in-law! (That just occurred to me! LOL). Such a blessing for presence. So much more of a gift than presents. Thank you for making this day beyond memorable !!! 🙏❤️

Riveting, eye opening, beautiful yet disturbing. I only thought love and didn't know if it was going to be a son or a daughter all 3 times. SURPRISE! Yet to my daughter this is truth. To me somewhat. The final part absolutely. To the son and mother relationship, I cannot relate. My daughter, I pray, finds the freedom I found. And I thank her for sending me this link. I think all mothers feel some part of this.🤍❤💙🩷

For more than 14 years Ralph has been organizing small group tours around the world. It began with a photographic focus (Photo Enrichment), and now he has a new brand called A La Campagna, shorter trips, with longer stays in one place and diving into the cultural aspects. This is open to both photographers and non-photographers. The Photo Enrichment brand does not mean you have to be a pro. It's for anyone who is interested in photography.
Ralph shared his new find. Georgia. NO, not the "Georgia" in the US, The Republic of Georgia. Roy and I caught on to that having a friend who just moved there. Ralph says it's the oldest wine culture in the world, and the food is great and very reasonably priced. And where is that? It borders Russia and Turkey. Time to use Google! 🙂
Ralph comes from of background of restaurants, third-generation restauranteur, so the incorporating of food in the travels is one of the best things. "The reason we travel is to get out of our comfort zone". Ralph does scouting before he brings his groups to a certain place. This is him going on his own, trying everything, meeting everyone, and sharing the best experiences.
Ralph is not at all against Smart Phone Photography. In fact, it is less obtrusive and you can get those casual candid shots. As Ralph said, you can give the worst camera to a great photographer and you will still get a better picture than giving a great camera to a not-so-good photographer.
We touched upon COVID, and Ralph did agree it had an effect on his business. It didn't stop him from traveling, however, whenever he could.
Be ready for a point and shoot mode, with all settings right for the condition. Anticipate the decisive moment then point and shoot. And remember "Life is too short not to travel."

What an enjoyable episode with Darrell and Veronica.

The couple shared about the challenges of marriage and the ways to overcome these challenges.

The two of them met while Darrell was serving in the Military. Veronica explained that Darrell was very open and honest about the challenges their relationship would have to endure in this lifestyle.

They spoke to their first child that they chose to have as Darrell was in his last year of service. The two did not anticipate that their first child would experience separation anxiety from his father at such a young age.

It was mentioned that divorces used to be primarily the cause of financial difficulties, however, they said today it is more about emotional distancing.

Very interesting information and worth a listen to for anyone, and even more so for any young couple considering marriage. Thank you for your wisdom and advice, Darrell and Veronica.

Reconomics is the study of how places come back to life. Storm explains it has to do with "repurposing and renewing and reconnecting of the area's natural and built and socio-economic assets", as opposed to trying to" grow economically through sprawl or by extracting virgin resources or other ways that don't work in the long run."

This is a very interesting topic and makes so much sense.

We touched on Storm's other books that led him to the latest one called Reconomics.

Storm explained that his Reconomics Institute provides the opportunity to become certified as a Revitalization Facilitator. The courses are online and can take as little as a month to complete, while some have taken a year.

And a fun fact. Storm is an amateur herpetologist. "What is that?" You may ask? It is the study of amphibians and reptiles. Storm shares that this has been a passion of his for as early as when he was 5 years old.

When her daughter was growing up, Cynthia realized she was not ready for parenting and how to deal with it. She was coaching at the time and decided to research this topic. There was nothing that she truly answered the question she was looking for. It was what inspired her to research it further and to write her book Ally Parenting.

Cynthia explains that everything she is talking about in regards to communication blocks is applicable to all relationships, be it children, spouses, or friends.

In Cynthia's book, she has a chart with a list of ten potential communication blocks, and the underlying message that the other person can perceive it as.

This episode is a must listen to for anyone. The book as well. In this Podcast, I felt this to be invaluable for parents dealing with children with bulimia, as I have coached in the past, and midlife bulimics to learn themselves how to communicate with others.

Roy and LaurieAnn welcome Kenda Felker, who tells us about being diagnosed with MS at the age of 15. This is an incredible story of persistence, positivity and a "make it happen" attitude.

Kenda said that it was hard at first, yet she wasn't ready to give up and stop.

Along with teaching, dancing, and loving Kareoke, Kenda wants to go skydiving now. She said her husband is wonderful and supports her and helps her to make sure she can do what she puts her mind to.

A lot has changed over the last 30 years since Kenda was first diagnosed. She does share as well about her "fight" to get Handicapped Parking in her small town of Paris in Texas.

A must-watch episode! Kenda ends the interview by telling us about the Miss Wheelchair Southwestern USA Pageant event which she won, and will be a docu-series for the first time called A Different Kind of Crown. Keep an eye out for it!

From there we moved on to Ryan's book about remote working. He shared about his own business having to shift to remote, and how do you restructure to do that. From there Ryan realized that it was important to provide a tool and resource for those workers transitioning to remote to thrive and be well and flourish in their own work. After researching books on the subject, he said there were not many. So this inspired him to write his third book "How To Thrive In Remote Working Environments".

Very interesting discussion on how to remain social while working remotely, and the biggest challenge. Also discussed is the responsibility of Corporations towards the support for employee wellbeing.

You never know where you are going to meet the next guest. Karen and LaurieAnn met while joining a book exchange online. We chatted a bit and was asked to come on to share her story.

Karen resides in Ireland. She starts off by explaining what NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) is. Although it's mainly about you speak, Karen focuses on how you speak to yourself. What you witnessed in your first seven years creates your script for life (until you meet Karen, who helps you come up with a better script).

She says children are great observers, but not great interpreters.

The majority of her clients are working mothers who have lost their sense of identity. She will ask when was a time you laughed so hard... and to connect with that joy.

Roy Miller and I had a great time chatting with Emily. Her story is amazing, and it was interesting when she explained how people would point out the women in the Navy. Different to see them involved and yet it was not that long ago.

Her openness about her divorce, and later in life, her role as being there to support her ex as he was leaving this earth is so inspiring.

From there to moving from a Naval Officer and Civilian to deciding it was time to do something SHE wanted to do. Not something people were telling her she "SHOULD" do. We are sure that many listeners out there can relate to that.
