Over my 20 year career in YRDSB, I had the privilege of meeting and working with some phenomenal people. These lovely ladies have stood by my side, while I’ve been making my pink lemonade.🍋They are my YRDSB family and I wouldn’t trade them for anything.♥️
Two members are missing (my Kindergarten partner in crime) and (my Great Beginnings partner…in every sense😉).
Love you ladies…to the moon and back.😘

It’s the final countdown!! 🗓️I will be attending The Great Gatsby Party in Toronto with some girlfriends tomorrow night. Super excited - haven’t seen a couple of them in a while! A perfect night to rejuvenate, catch-up, dress-up and revel the night away in true Roaring Twenties style.💃🏼📓🍾

My birthday month did not start off well, but it is definitely improving. An unexpected late birthday gift, and definitely one of the best messages that I have received in a while…another author was kind enough to share that my book has sold out at the Miami Book Fair International.🥳🍾Thank you .🫶📰

Alex and I went to see Mamma Mia. My all-time favourite musical!! Fourth time’s the charm….Alex was inutero for the first two. I swear that it is where her love of ABBA began!! She disagrees.😉 The pounding her little feet did on my bladder during those performances..🤣
I love that she still loves going with her mama. Always the best girls date night!♥️🩷♥️🩷

I came home, after spending another day of focusing on putting one foot in front of the other, while continuing to be a helpful daughter and caring mom, and found a fabulous gift waiting for me. One of my dearest friends stepped up and filled my bucket. Birthday rain check included.🎁🥳 The beautiful flowers…loving card and thoughtful gifts…definitely a great reminder that I am loved and have great people in my corner.♥️First smile in weeks…priceless.😘

The shock is wearing off and I broke down in tears when your phone number popped up on my phone this morning, and you weren’t on the other side.
I’m trying really hard to keep it together for mom, the girls and Sophy.
I would give anything to listen to one of your lectures or to have you say have a good day, love you, just one more time. I miss you so much.💔

It is with a heavy heart that I write this post today. My beloved aunt sadly passed away this morning. Words cannot describe how much I will miss her. She was my second mom, my advocate, my protector and my confidante.
My aunt had a tough exterior, but I was lucky to have her love me, as much as she did. I got to see her whole heart and how much love she had to give. For that, I will be eternally grateful.♥️
My aunt shared her birthday with her mom and now, I get to share my birthday with the day she finally got to rest and be reunited with her son, husband and parents.
