Together in the trees Our journey in working together as a couple, strengthening our relationship and supporting our family Hi I am Shauna Holthe.

My husband and I started our arborist business 12 years ago. He was the Axe man We service the towns in southern Alberta. We prune trees and remove unwanted, or hazardous trees. We have found that the work opportunities when living in small communities are few and far between. Once we started the business we quickly realized that it was going to be a family affair to help support our family finan

cially as well as a great opportunity to help develop a good work ethic in our children. So we then became together in the trees. We established this endeavor not just to trim and remove trees but to cultivate essential life skills in our children – a legacy of hard work, responsibility, and respect for nature. We prune and nurture not just trees but a resilient and flourishing family legacy.

Just had an amazing experience with my family processing a deer together! 🥰 It’s not only about the delicious and nutritious meat, but also about the bonding and teamwork that comes with it. 🤝

We believe in the importance of knowing where our food comes from and being involved in the process. By processing the deer ourselves, we can ensure that we’re eating high-quality, organic meat that’s free from additives and hormones. 🍽️

It was incredible to see everyone working together, learning new skills, and enjoying each other’s company. 🌟 This activity has definitely brought us closer as a family and created lasting memories. 💕

I need to wear leather gloves since they can withstand the amount of work I put them through. I’m working with ropes and heavy logs, if they aren’t leather the rope will burn right through them!!!

My Why!

I have felt that there is something that I can share with others that can make an impact. I’m not sure what that is for each individual but I am on a path to share what I do know, to listen and encourage others on their path to figuring out their What’s and Why’s in their own lives. To show up for you, because others showed up for me! They might not even know that they did, but it has greatly impacted my life. I know we ALL have Potential we just need to see through the right glasses to be able to see it in ourselves!! Then find out what to do with it, how to nurture it, protect it and share it! It’s the little things that make the biggest difference in our lives. Our habits shape who we are on our way to become. We All have something to give to help others and a voice to deliver it, the road to travel on will help us find it. The end goal isn’t the prize, it’s who we grow to become along our Journey that makes the end a prize! We need to listen to our inner voice that says “WHAT IF??” and start our Journey!!
