This fan travelled five hours by bus, with a Michael Bublé cutout, in the hopes of meeting him.

At the end of November last year, I put a team together (myself, another photographer, and a videographer) to shoot an event in .

Part of the brief for this shoot was to capture the Bubly pop-up in its location, and visitors interacting with it in the same way that they had in the Montreal event. Of course, I have those images, and you can see some in my Montreal post, but the ones I want to share here are those that show what this event was really about: Michael Bublé.

During the nationwide campaign held to advertise his Christmas-themed sparkling water flavour – Merry Berry Bublé – this was the key event, where Michael Bublé himself would put the ‘é’ on the Bubly logo to celebrate, and meet his fans.

No lie, it was intense, but Monsieur Bublé remained unruffled and charismatic throughout, and the event was a great success.

Thanks to Tam and Rob for being my creative comrades, and to Kelly and the rest of the Park Production House team for trusting me with this assignment and for being such a pleasure to work with.

At the end of last year I shot the Bubly campaign for Micheal Bublé’s Christmas-themed sparkling water flavour, Merry Berry Bublé, in Montreal and Toronto. In the brief was to photograph visitors to the installation enjoying free drink samples and interacting with the merch.
