Had the pleasure of mixing some metalcore this week. To make specific sections of the song more interesting I spliced up the guitars into sections and sent them to there own bus. Each section has a different Amp and each bus has its own Stereo Spread. It's subtle but in the mix goes along way.

Pretty happy with this bass chain. These plugs are across 3 different tracks: Bass DI, Bass Amp and a parallel "Low End" Aux. I've done some minor EQ with the Fabfilter ProQ also.
