For most small-to-midsize businesses operating inside a certain geographic area, going "viral" with a social media post might feel good, but it probably shouldn't be the primary goal.

Start with consistency and clarity of message. Try communicating in a way your ideal clients and customers might relate to and care about (hint: this means you've got to think your message through from THEIR perspective).

Vanity metrics shouldn't be the goal.

Growing your business should be.

Sorry, but that takes work. With social media or without.
