Did you know that while a local flyer company charges 49 cents per copy with minimum 2500 copies ($1225 min), your ad in the Wortley Villager is mailed to almost twice that many homes, set out at local venues and for further city-wide and beyond reach, posted online, starting at just $180? And while flyers are often tossed, the friendly community magazine, ALL about their LOCAL artisans and entrepreneurs, neighbours and events is KEPT for posterity. With the March issue'on the press', we're working on the April edition. Contact [email protected] to inquire about getting in on it!

In the November edition of the Wortley Villager, we shared an excerpt from Connie Weir's book 'Knowing No Defeat' that profiles 57 men from London South Collegiate who gave their lives in WWII. Pictured is Lieutenant Darling who had lived at 268 Ridout Street and was killed by shrapnel from an artillery shell on December 9, 1943. We will remember him.
