I would never normally go online and trash one of my customers but, when I’m being dragged over the coals by him online when it was clearly all his doing, I have to speak up.
So it’s been snowing the last couple days and bands are deciding whether they can/can’t, or should/shouldn’t brave the roads. So for the scheduled Tuesday night bookings, 1 customer cancels the night before, knowing from the forecast it’s better to be safe than sorry.
The customer in question, Facebook messages me at 9:40am the day of saying they are pondering whether to make it to rehearsal or not. I replied, no problem, if you can let me know ASAP, I won’t charge you. He says oh for sure. Well almost 6 hours is not an asap response.
Basically at 3pm, now to me this is not asap, I was thinking more like 12 noon, that still gave them 2 1/2,hours to make up their mind. At 1pm it’s nice & sunny out, things are warming up and melting a bit. At 3 I’ve had enough, I’m running a business, I need to know what’s going on. I finally said , forget it, I’ll make your mind up for you at this point. I’ll cancel you and not charge you.
He reply’s, oh great, we were going to show up but now that you’ve made up our mind for us, fine we won’t show.
Are you kidding me?!!!
That’s the actions of a child. If it was in person I’m sure he would have stomped his feet, lower lip sticking out and holding his breath until he turned blue.
Now, from what I’ve experienced from this guy, he’s a real piece of work.
I’ve had his old and current band members tell me about his actions and attitude. He’s extremely controlling, manipulative and very quietly self centred. It’s all about him.
It’s funny how he really thinks he’s something and went online and trashed me for my actions through this ordeal.
And yes, I called him an as**at. Well, what’s that saying, if the hat fits……
As anyone other than him knows that have been here, I go way above and beyond to create the best possible rehearsal studio I can. I’ll guarantee no other place goes to the lengths I do.
He’s stated that this was the worst customer service experience in his life or ever.
In my experience, sometimes a person like that create their own customer service issue.
He publicly stated my name. That’s fine, I have absolutely nothing to hide and stand by the way I operate my business.
The success speaks volumes itself.
I seriously think some people 🙄 get very spoiled here and don’t realize how good they have it. There are a couple other places you should frequent to make you realize how good you had it.
Anyway, I’m not going to publicly say his name as I don’t play like that.
I will just say, have a nice day Mr. As**at.
