It's amazing how every baby grows and develops at their own pace!

Some start crawling early,others will take their time. Some sleep through the night (lucky you😀)while others love staying up. Every baby is special in their own way. Never compare them.

For my baby when it comes to trying new food , it's a guessing game with St⭐r - one day he loves it and other days....not so much. In fact he will make you feel like it's his first time trying that food😂.

Rather than complain of your baby not doing certain things like other babies, celebrate it as what makes your baby unique and one-of-a-kind.

Hey mama, did you know that morning breast milk is different from evening breast milk?

Breast milk changes composition in the morning and at night. This is due to your hormones.

In the morning, breast milk is high in an energy drink like hormone, known as cortisol.

In the evening, breast milk is high in the sleep-inducing hormone called melatonin.

I was surprised when I found this, as I have always known breast milk is breast milk 😂

🌼Baby’s First Haircut 🌼

For most parents, the first haircut is a big milestone! Whether it’s just a little trim or a full-on haircut, it’s a moment you’ll never forget.

I remember one of my friends got so mad the wife did their baby girls haircut without his permission and it wasn't properly done( Dad and their daughters) 😁🥰

St⭐r boy is 8 months we haven't done any trim yet. Honestly, I can't tell when we'll do it (between his hair is countable😁)

If your baby has siblings, it's always interesting and heart warming watching them warm up and interact whether it's playtime, sharing, or even a little sibling rivalry. These moments are precious 💕

Whenever I watch siblings interact, it's always so beautiful to see them love and tease one another. It just brings back sweet memories of me and my siblings. 🦷Baby teeth: when did your baby get it?🦷

Teething is a tiny milestone with great impacts. It's one of the exciting moments most if not every parent look out for.

The appearance of the first tooth is a major milestone that often ones with smiles, and maybe even a few tears but most times its a smile. 😄

In my country, once a baby gets his/her first tooth, you will hear people make statements like "this pikin no want miss corn season" 😄 I don't know why it's often related to corn 🌽 (If you can relate and know why please let us know in the comments)

Manuel is yet to get a tooth so I m yet to experience this but I anxiously look forward to this milestone with mix feelings 😆.

While I'll be happy for him and to gain or experience the process, I'll also be crying for my ni***es 😂

I have come to realize that, entertaining a baby is a full time job🙌 😄omg, am I the only one who feels this way? The search for simple games to keep the baby entertained is real.

Have you noticed how contagious a baby's laughter is? It doesn't have to be your baby neither do you need to be a parent to be contaminated with a babies laughter😂.

Honestly I think there's nothing as contagious as a baby's laughter, 😀 be it their tiny smile or a full-on belly laugh, it just have a way, of brightening up even your toughest day.

Hearing your babies first words, seems to be an unforgettable moment for parents. Be it "Mama", "Dada" or something completely unexpected but those first words, are just so emotional.

🛑Baby gear essentials : what couldn't you live without ?🛑

What was that "Must Have" item for you mama? The world of baby gear is large from outfits to baby carriers to breastfeeding items but there's always that one item which came handy and made your journey refreshing.

Is it a pacifier that saved the day? Or baby carrier which gave you that hands free parenting support, so that you could do some chores around the house? Or is it a breast feeding pillow which gave you that back support and made breastfeeding 💯 enjoyable?

I personally enjoyed these Nursing shields in this picture. These little babies made breastfeeding so enjoyable. Like not a single and I mean single ni**le pain, nor crack nor sore , just nothing. Being a parent is funny and at the same time interesting. It sometimes comes with a lot of advice - some of it good, and some ..... Not so much.

That said, let's burst 5 Common myths

1. Myth: You will spoil your baby if you hold them too much ( I am personally guilty of this one. I use to say this to moms too until I did my research and realized the fact which is👇)

Fact: You just can't spoil a baby with LOVE! holding your little one helps foster a strong bond between you two. That said hold them tight as much as you can because you know what, once you blink, they must have outgrown your laps.Therefore, make good use of every single second ❤️

2. Myth: By 6 months, your baby should be sleeping all through the night 😴.

Fact: You see babies, they are different and unique. Some babies might take long while others will just sync. So don't stress yourself if your baby isn't doing this by 6 months. It will happen whenever your baby is ready.

3. Myth: Teething causes high fever.

Fact: Teething might cause some level of discomfort, but it doesn't usually cause high fever. ( So that teething powder you are planning to buy, don't bother 🙌)

🌼Baby Milestones: what to expect🌼

Your babies first year is one of the most exciting periods as a mom be it first time mom or not but you see first time moms, it's specially special 😜 for them 😂

Babies first year, is often filled with so many exciting milestones like: their first smile 😁, first sounds🤗, to that first step, like every moment is special and celebrated 🎉

As a mom, I just can't help but record all these moments and wish my phone space can accommodate them all because whenever I look back, my jaw bones pain with the widest smiles😂

✨ According to experts, here are some milestones to watch out for. My advice , please take lots of videos and photos to keep and look back. It's just so heart warming ❤️

✨ Babies often smile in their smile 😁 and this is one of the most hear warming sights for all parents especially moms ( I am actually smiling typing this 😂)

I always wonder what's amusing them? And I just get to smile back whenever I catch this moment.😁 What about you have you ever wondered why your baby smiles in his/her sleep?

Experts say that , those tiny smiles, might be linked to your babies brain development 💕.

It amazed me to find out that, when babies sleep , their brain try to process everything they've learned during the day. So the smiles you get from them, could be a sign of a well- developing brain🧠.
