We visited Bruce Peninsula National Park from October 18th to the 21st, 2024. This is an amazing and scenic National Park in Southern Ontario near Tobermory. We checked out the park including Indian Head Cove, the Grotto, Singing Sands and the Visitor Centre. We also explored Little Tub Harbour in Tobermory. This is the last park review video of Season 6 and it was a great way to close out the season.

From September 26th to October 1st, 2024, we visited Algonquin Park for our annual leaf peeping trip. We stayed at the beautiful and scenic Canisbay Lake Campground. We met new friends and old friends and explored parts of the park that we've never been to before. When I finished editing the video, Cheryl said "this is my favourite video." High praise from Cheryl since we have about 160 videos currently on YouTube. You can check out the video here: https://youtu.be/DRPzSDRVJxc

We camped at Sharbot Lake Provincial Park from September 6th to the 8th, 2024. This is a nice park that they've done a lot of upgrades on recently. There are many beautiful waterfront sites on Black Lake and Sharbot Lake with excellent paddling on both lakes. Along with exploring the campground we checked out the town of Sharbot Lake. We had a great time here. It's worth checking out.

We camped at Silver Lake Provincial Park from September 2nd to the 5th, 2024. This park is along Hwy 7 near Perth, between Kingston and Ottawa. The labour day weekend had just ended, so we got to enjoy a very quiet park. We paddled on Silver Lake and Ben tested out a kayak that fit him and Jax together. We visited a brewery and distillery in Perth and enjoyed some down time at the park.

We camped at Point Farms Provincial Park for the Thanksgiving weekend. We celebrated Thanksgiving with family and friends and for our first time ever, we celebrated Halloween at a Provincial Park. Little Bo Peep (Cheryl), her sheep (Jax) and The Big Bad Wolf (Ben) had lots of fun checking out the spooky decorations and trick-or-treaters. Great fun was had by all.

We tested an entry level e-bike with some great features and a great price. This is the L20 2.0 step-though folding e-bike from Engwe. We wanted to see if this e-bike was ideal for the kind of camping that we do. We were quite impressed with it as we put it through its paces. Check out our review.

We went back to Restoule Provincial Park for an update. Restoule is one of our Top 10 Provincial Parks for camping. We had a non-electric waterfront site which gave us the opportunity to share with you how we RV camp without hook-ups, using our batteries and our solar generator. The weather didn’t cooperate with us too much on this trip but we made the most of it, as we always do. Join us as we check out the park, the town of Restoule and a nearby honey farm. A sensory overload is one way to describe Watkins Glen. It's a must do stop on your camping journey. We went to Watkins Glen from August 6th to the 10th, 2024. This is our 3rd time visiting this park but our first time recording a video of it. This park never disappoints. The finger lakes region of New York State is beautiful and full of wineries. We visited Brothers Wineries and Estates for a wine tour like no other. Check out our video review of Watkins Glen. https://youtu.be/YGbaBQTWjjs

We went south of the border to Upstate New York State where we spent 5 nights at Letchworth State Park. That wasn’t enough time to really see the whole park but we made a valiant effort. It’s known as the “Grand Canyon of the East”. It features stunning waterfalls, overlooks and forests. The Genesee River Gorge offers incredible lookouts at every turn. Check out our video review of the park.
