Traveling with your furry friend? 🚗🐱🐶
Don’t forget about hydration! 💦 Keeping your pet well-hydrated is crucial, especially during travel when they might not have regular access to water.

Here are some ways to ensure your pet stays hydrated during travel:

✅Always carry a collapsible or portable water bowl. They’re convenient and ensure your pet can drink whenever needed.

✅Take regular breaks on road trips to offer water. This not only hydrates them but also provides a much-needed stretch and restroom break.

✅Feeding your pet wet food can help increase their water intake, as it has a higher moisture content.

✅ Don’t leave your pet in the car alone, even for a few minutes, as the temperature inside the car can quickly rise higher than outside, potentially causing heatstroke.

✅Keep an eye out for signs of dehydration like dry gums or excessive panting.

Remember, a hydrated pet is a happy and healthy traveler! 🐶🐱

💭Has your pet benefited from massage therapy in the past? 🐶🐱🐰🐾
Here are a few things you should know before your pet sees a Certified Canine and Feline Massage Therapist:

✅Inform the service provider of your pet’s medical history and lifestyle.

✅Do not feed your pet 90 minutes prior to their massage session. Ensure your dog has had a chance to relieve themselves outside to avoid interruptions during the appointment.

✅Your pet must be free of fleas, ticks, or infectious conditions to prevent transmission to other pets visiting the service provider later in the day.

✅Ensure there is a cool, quiet room available with space for your pet’s bedding and a drop sheet on the floor, or on the couch for smaller dogs and cats.

✅Create a calming atmosphere with no interruptions, allowing your pet to fully benefit from the treatment. Pet parents are usually welcome, especially during the first session.

🐾Understand that some pets may be nervous initially, requiring multiple sessions to relax fully.

🐾The duration of a session and the intensity of massage strokes will vary based on each pet’s tolerance and needs. Tolerance typically increases with additional sessions.

🐾Your pet may experience thirst, sleepiness, or increased energy after their first few sessions as their body adjusts.

🐈🐈‍⬛Cats meow or cry for various reasons, including:

🐱Communication: Cats meow to communicate with their guardians and other cats, get attention, express needs, or convey emotions. For instance, a cat may meow when hungry, wanting to go outside, or feeling lonely.

🐱Hunger: Cats often meow when hungry, using different types of meows to indicate hunger levels or mealtime.

🐱Attention Seeking: Cats may meow for attention when bored, seeking interaction from their human companions.

🐱Stress or Discomfort: Meowing can signal stress, discomfort, anxiety, or illness. Seeking veterinary evaluation is advised if this behaviour is concerning.

🐱Reproduction/Heat: Female cats in heat meow to attract males for mating; males may yowl similarly. Spaying/neutering can address this behaviour.

😻Fun Fact: Cats don’t meow or cry in certain situations. When focused on hunting, they remain silent to avoid alerting prey. In social interactions with other cats, they use body language and scent marking instead of vocalizations like meowing or crying.
