In 2023, about one in three households in the KFL&A area experienced food insecurity due to financial constraints. The 2024 'Cost of Eating Healthy' report shows a “worsening of that problem” in 2024, according to Dr. Piotr Oglaza, Medical Officer of Health for the region.
