Way to go Last Place Motorsports!

Another good day at the track. Doug's first race in 25 years finished with a podium at Calabogie Motorsports Park. This puts us firmly in 2nd in the Sprint class championship, almost halfway through the season.

Geoff from Last Place Motorsports had one hell of a time last year with mechanical issues but always busted his butt to get to every event he could. This news couldn't be any sweeter for us. We know he will be there come hell or high water and couldn't be prouder to know him.

Still a few details to work out, but plans are progressing to take part in next year's VARAC Vintage Racing Festival at Mosport/CTMP

Whoa. How times have changed.

For those of us up in The Great White North, we used to live in a world where the racing season ended for the winter. Now it doesn't. It's so great to see many big players getting in on giving their racers an opportunity to enjoy some seat time with friends and opponents in SIMS.

Stupid rain. Sunset Speedway was forced to shut down their big Sunday of the year due to weather. While it sucks they had to make this call, I commend them for making it early. Sometimes holding out and hoping for the best can do more harm than good.

Good luck on the rain date! I'm sure it will be killer.

Same corner, similar shot, just different cars and WAY LOUDER! All of the drivers of the absolutely crushed it here during the WEATHERTECH 200 at . Our boy had a great race and did us, , , and Queensway Truck Centre, Proud.

People in a city center or quiet residential area would call this "Unnecessary noise". We call it Music to our ears. The final race of the FEL Motorsports Radical Cup Canada is on track to start the day here at . We are pumped to be here.

Even though we are at the track all the time, most times we don't have the opportunity to watch the races we want to most. Super thankful for right now. FEL Motorsports TCR and GT4 is some of our favorite racing and without this beautiful app, we'd be in the dark right now. On rare occasions, DriverCal.com gets a weekend off from visiting tracks, shows and other events with out booth set up. And on even rarer occasions, those weekends coincide with killer events we have always wanted to attend but were otherwise booked or busy. Well, this is one of those weekends. Yesterday we had a great time at Wheels On The Danforth (watch for an event recap coming this week) and today, well, something a little different but just oh so good.

If you are within driving distance to London, ON, get your butts out to right now! We will be there soon and are super excited to check out what the team has put together.

It's no secret that the team here at DriverCal.com have one goal in mind, and that goal is to grow Motorsports and live events for future generations to come. One of the ways we do that is, through our 'I Support Motorsports' program, provide sponsorships to racers and events we see show potential and who share a similar thought process to ours.

With that, we would like to do our very first OFFICIAL sponsored driver introduction. Here we introduce to you, Graydon Bunn. While he isn't a young pup, is new to the driver's seat and shows such an amazing amount of love for the sport. He is a lifelong fan of racing and over the pandemic became a co-host to a wildly supportive podcast to the NASCAR Pinty's Series, Stickers N' Scuffs Podcast with Cam K & Graydon Bunn. Through friends, family, friends and supporters made through the podcast, and a handful of sponsors Graydon is about to realize his dream of getting behind the wheel of a real race car.

Tonight, at Peterborough Speedway during their first of 2022 Toonie(s) Fan Appreciation night (a night of racing for $4 buck? Yes Please!), Graydon will get behind the wheel of his number 81 Outlaw Midget, wheeling his car for not only his first race of his season, but his first time ever on track at Peterborough Speedway. If you're able to attend, cheer extra hard and extra loud for him. While I'm sure he will be hooked for life no matter what happens, the excitement of a crowd can give you confidence beyond what you thought possible.

Welcome to the family, Graydon. We couldn't be happier to have you representing our brand, the sport as a whole, and we can't wait to see what happens with you and your racing in the future.

Its go time at Peterborough Speedway tonight for their first race of 2022! After dealing with a few crazy years, and then last week, one of the biggest storms to hit the area, management, staff, and volunteers have busted their buttons to make sure there can be a race this week! Congrats Peterborough Speedway! Wishing you the best night possible in this huge comeback story!

It's race day at Peterborough! After last week's devastating storm we have gotten the track all fixed up for thanks to a group of awesome volunteers. It is Fan Appreciation night with FREE admission. Racing starts at 5!

While this is one story of many, seeing the damage some tracks in Ontario took this past weekend is heart breaking. If its not one thing threatening the racing community, its another.

Make sure to get out to support your local track as soon as they are open. Butts in seats is what pays the bills for repairs, upgrades, and what racers want at a venue to make it worth their while to hit the track. Every butt makes a difference.

If you are in Ontario and you're complaining you're bored, don't complain to us... we are giving you LOTS of options. As an example, are running tonight at Toronto Motorsports Park, is running at Sunset Speedway, has their season opener, has cars on track, and is running on all cylinders too! Get out to the track! Brad here - I have been personally waiting to see DEBOSS GARAGE at Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo since 2018. I am so excited its happening and even more excited that they are bringing so much of their collection.
