It’s a great story about understanding and accessibility, and Bonita Matthews has now taken it one step forward by recording the text and including the audiobook with every purchase!

Coming soon! The first ever Kentville Wildcats trading cards. These cards will feature members of the 2022 NSSBL champions, and proceeds from the sale of these cards will fund their trip to Nationals in August.

There will be at least 20 different cards in the set, each available in an exclusive autographed version limited to just 10 copies. Packs will be sold a the gate for $5, and each pack will contain an assortment of base cards and one autograph.

Collect them all and show your support for your Kentville Wildcats!

We were proud to donate this trophy for the inaugural Ian Mosher Memorial Softball Tournament. This co-ed tournament will help raise funds to cover travel fees for the Kentville Wildcats as they go to the National Championships later this year!

Today I’m announcing the release of my biggest book project yet, and likely biggest ever. After 30 years of observation, research, and planning, (and five years of updates and editing) I’m finally putting Swing And A Drive out into the world.

This is not a story about the greatest baseball player ever. In fact, what always appealed to me about David Justice was that he was an underdog, an unheralded star who made the most of his opportunity. He was one of the game’s best players for a brief time in the 1990s and a key figure in the rise of the Atlanta Braves, but I feel strongly that you don’t have to be the greatest of all time to make a difference in this world.

I am always amazed by how talented our constituents are in Kings-Hants. Today I was at the Grand Pré Service Station getting my car serviced and I met Hailey Crowell of Kentville. Hailey wrote the “The Mysterious Invitation” when she was nine, which was recently published and can be purchased online. She was gracious enough to give our office a copy. Thanks for the book Hailey, wishing you all the best in the days ahead!
