New Blog

Creating a cozy coffee station will give your morning more warmth and love. Making my coffee is the first thing I do every morning. I look forward to it when I go to sleep at night! It’s a ritual and routine that starts my day with comfort and warmth! It is so important that it has its own space on my counter and a shelf full of cups dedicated to holding coffee.

When I set out to give my home a cozier feel, the coffee station was the first area I tackled. In this blog, you will find ideas and inspiration for your cozy coffee station and links to some items I added (and some still on my wish list). I like my home to feel inviting, warm, but most importantly, functional.

I’m done doing jobs I hate, and giving my all for people who don’t return my energy.

I have really gotten into content creation this year and I love it. Such a fun way to connect with others, share stories and have some inappropriate laughs.

I plan to create more in the new year. Hone my skills and maybe branch out to work with brands! I think it would be so fun!

If you are ready to start your wellness journey, begin with a whole-life audit that examines all the Dimensions of Wellness because health is about so much more than your physical and mental well-being!

Doing a life audit every couple of months helps me to stay on track and focused on my big goals. It lets me rate and see where I am in the process and the action steps needed to get me there. I have been able to do so much more in life and my career since I started taking the time to check in and move forward intentionally.

It’s time to make your Cozy Winter Bucket List of things you want to do this year! The winter season is tough on us spoonies. The cold weather causes many to experience increased pain and fatigue. It makes it harder to leave the house and stay active. On top of that, the lack of sun affects our mental health, bringing on that big sad feeling. Sure, the holiday stuff sounds fun, but the truth is that the holiday parties and events sound fun but can be exhausting, too.

This year, I am going to be taking it easy and focusing on the cozy things that I can do that bring me joy. I will be taking my energy levels into account and honoring my needs. But that doesn’t mean I will be sitting around doing nothing.

I put together this list of fun spoonie-friendly activities I want to try to fit into these winter months. They are mostly things you can do around the home and low-key social options that will help you stay connected to friends and family.

As the weather gets colder and the sun rises later, it’s the perfect time for a cozy winter morning routine.

For many people with chronic pain, winter mornings can be tough. The cold and moisture can cause increased pain and inflammation in joints, and the lack of sun can bring on more feelings of depression.

Creating a cozy routine that starts your day off on the right side of the bed can help you make it through winter and manage your symptoms a little easier.

As much as we all want to be “that girl” and have the perfect routine, remember that chronic illness is best approached with a flexible mindset. Create routines for different types of mornings and energy levels.
Some days, you might wake up and stretch. Some days, you might turn on your heat packs to warm up your joints.

In this blog there are a few suggestions of self-care activities that you can add to your winter morning routine🌞❄️☃️

DIY Christmas decore! ❄️

Spent the last week or so making some fun holidays decorations. Not a lot to spend this year but all I needed was some paper, cardboard and a lot of hot glue 🏠

I used to make crafty things all the time, and its something that chronic pain (and maybe adulthood) did to me. This took a lot more effort than it used to!

Making time and putting in the effort to be crafty and creative is one of my 2025 goals and I would say I am off to a good start! 💕
