In this photo the sake cups that I bought during my trip to Japan and these beautiful ramen bowls ( This was a incredible gift, from Japan as well, and from one of my clients, that became a friend, when I used to work as a personal chef for ). Yes I am attached to this material stuff, but they carry love and beautiful memories attached to them as well ❤️.
Part I: Plantain saga. I love plantains or as some people weirdly refer, at least for me, as "cooking bananas" 🤔 ... Plátanos are very versatile and can be used in many dishes...

Yes I know it would be nicer if I poured the dressing, and yes it's really hard to be the hands, the photographer at the same time and still get a shot sharp enough in low light... Maybe next time. But for now the shot actually looks pretty decent, right? 😉

Doesn't matter, we still keep producing, we just don't share or use the app that often anymore. I really don't care about videos, how many likes or shares I have. Stocking my freezer with all this sweet beauties. Who loves to add some local grow blackberries in your homemade smoothies 🙋♀️? Plus, when I am stocking my freezer I put 1 in the container and 2 in my mouth. I think is a fair deal 🤫 😜 I love fruits, all of them, even durian 😬
I've tried Haskap berries for the first time and they are just incredible. Beautiful shape, color and delicious sweet and sour taste. I've been working at the farmers market through this summer. It's been a great opportunity to get in touch with local producers and trying different fruits and vegetables. Plus, I have the chance to take beautiful shots and have delicious feast after 😉 This produce is from Indigo Valley Farm, BC.
Pasta power!!! I am back to the gym and one of the biggest reasons is because I can eat whatever I want 😂😂 I love carbs and could eat pasta every single day. Specially when the pasta is beautiful and delicious like this one...
I really love summer. I love the fresh fruit available and I specially love peach season 🍑 Unfortunately this season brings mixed feelings. We are suffering with the smoke, coming from the fires. We have around 300 active fires happening right now, just in the province, most of the at the Okanagan. It's insane!! We were expecting the fires, but it's still very sad to see all this people, evacuated from their homes. All the animals with no places to escape and thousands and thousands of hectares burned. We need to be conscious of our choices. We are responsible for all these fires. Mother nature is punishing us and she is right. We deserve it. 😔
Refreshing options to be the heat doesn't need to be full of refined sugar or fat to be delicious (just to be clear, I love a creamy ice cream as well 🤭). This is the final shot of the orange and honey granita/granite that I did last week. I still have some in my freezer. Maybe it's time for a cocktail party?I think this granita can become a delicious ingredient for a fake Margarita 🤔🤤 Cheers summer 🍹
I've learned that we can gather a couple of nice shots during the process of producing the final one... I had a great natural light, perfect food texture and one hand full of cuts and burns. Chefs hands carry a lot of stories and beautiful scars 🤷♀️😉 ❤️
Who here loves granita 🙋♀️??? I had some extra orange at my place (I love fresh pressed juice) so I decide to prepare some granita. Basically "shaved" ice with sugar and juice. You can play around with flavours and adapt for healthier options. Mine was orange, infused honey and fresh mint. I love summer and I love create new recipes to beat the heat 🍹😎
Picnic season 🙌🙌 When you don't have delicious picnic boxes from .vancouver in your city, you "make" your own 😂 I am working in something new (can't say yet) 😉, but I am paring with different products to see how it goes. This weekend we paired with some refreshing and delicious wine from . Their labels are super creative and beautiful. , but when the product is good, we spread the news ☺️

Testing different recipes to beat the heat in Kelowna. More tropical popsicles coming 😋 For this recipe I used coconut milk, cashews and infused honey from (hibiscus and rosehip). They turn out AMAZING!!! I would like to give a shout out for this canadian female owned honey company. We got a jar, as a gift, and it's soooo tasteful. We love it and we want more 😁 ❤️
Time for popsicles 🙌🙌 It's damm hot here in Kelowna this week, and It's always hard to find healthy and refreshing popsicles around. For this one, nothing fancy, just coconut yogurt, mango, honey and pineapple juice. No preservatives, no refined sugar, no dairy, just love 🌈 This shades? Lovely afternoon sun in my living room blinds 😉 Stay hydrated!

🇨🇦 My heart is with my friends, family and all the people that are suffering with Covid in Brazil. It's a shame that my beautiful country is losing this fight against this horrible pandemic. I am having lack of creativity at the moment. I just can't keep up with so much sad news surrounding my IG. A couple of weeks ago I created this photo, with the intention of showing the mixture of cultures in my house. My partner and I come from totally different backgrounds. There's a massive gap between the situation in our countries right now. I hope my people can open their eyes and see what his people, with the support of their amazing prime minister, were able to do. Together we can do anything 🇧🇷 I am praying for you Brazil. I left to look for better opportunities, but my heart will always be with you 😢🌹
Playing around with some delicious local jam, that I friend told me not to long ago. This weekend we went for a ride and we had the chance to meet the owner and his beautiful paradise. Had some delicious wine and purchased some amazing artisanal seasonal jams. Thank you Patrick, we had a great time🌹
