The strength sports community wouldn’t get far without volunteers, so please accept this small token of my support for what yall do!
This year we say goodbye to as he leaves for law school. Watching him create a sizeable community here in Kelowna has been a treat, and I sincerely hope to see him return to continue what he started!
Amazing to be blessed with one of the in attendance, as well as who is one of Hans’ inspirations for beginning the Kelowna strongman group.
Hats off to you all, and so many others not mentioned here.

Ogopogo Weightlifting Championships
Kelowna / August 10th & 11th
I will be the official photographer this year for one of Canada’s most exciting Olympic weightlifting competitions. As some of you may remember, last year we suffered the heartbreak of cancelation due to the forest fires that raged throughout our community. I sincerely hope that we can come together, making this year’s bigger and even better than ever.

Village Dance Academy

APU Provs FREE Volunteer Gallery

I’ve always said that volunteerism is the life blood of strength sports. Most of us can agree that the sense of community and spirit of strength sports pulls us to contribute in our own ways. Some of us spot and load weights, some of us keep the scores, some of us register athletes and weigh them in… some of us call you on depth LOL, all jokes aside… it takes a community. While I usually just take the pictures, it’s a small gift to try and support those who make it all possible.
We tried to shoot as many of you as we could, but inevitably miss some. The link to the free gallery is in my bio page linktree :)

Metal Mayhem II athlete gallery is now Live.

It was the second meet generating a 9 on the Richter scale as the weights came slamming down. Multiple world records were broken as some of the toughest guys and gals around came out to send it.
