The annual BuskerFest took over Okotoks' downtown on Saturday, June 22nd. The festival had over 30 performers and roughly 40 venders along McRae and North Railway Streets. There was also an area for the kids that had face painting and lawn games. To keep an eye on event around town, click here.

The Okotoks Film Festival had their opening night this past Wednesday. At the opening night, they screened the documentary Thrown Into Canada, which was about the refugee movement from Uganda in the 1970s.
